THIS Morning star Giles Brandreth has confirmed that he turned down big money to take part in this year's I'm A Celebrity.

The 75-year-old, who regularly appears on the ITV talk show, revealed the reason WHY on today's episode on This Morning.



I'm A Celebrity will be back on our screens very soon – and fans are desperate to know who will be taking part.

ITV recently released a first look at the series, followed by another teaser, which has left Alison Hammond very excited.

Giles discussed the new advert today on This Morning with Alison,Dermot O'Leary and  Sonia Sodha.

Dermot asked if Giles would ever do it, to which Giles replied: "I was asked again this year!

Giles didn't reveal the other times that he has been asked.

I'm A Celebrity usually airs in November.

Last month The Sun revealed that jockey Frankie Dettori is saddling up to ride into the jungle.

A TV insider said: “Frankie is a superstar signing for jungle casting producers as he is a legend in the horse racing world and would be reality TV gold.

“He might be pint-sized, but his personality is larger than life and he has real charm and a sense of humour.

“Frankie would be brilliant in the Bushtucker Trials too as being competitive is second nature to him.

“He’s also got a wealth of stories he could tell around the campfire to keep other campmates entertained.

“Plus, as a jockey, he’s had to keep his weight down his whole life so he can help coach the other starving contestants surviving on rice and beans.”
