Bad Bunny Honors Murdered Puerto Rican Trans Latina While Performing on ‘Fallon’! (Video)

Bad Bunny hit the stage on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (February 27) and delivered an important message!

While performing a his song titled “Ignorantes” alongside musical artist Sech, the 25-year-old Latin superstar lowered his blazer to reveal his shirt that read, “Mataron a Alexa, no a un hombre con falda,” which translates to “They killed Alexa, not a man with skirt.”

The poignant tribute was in honor of a transgender woman named Alexa who was brutally murdered in Puerto Rico earlier this week. That last line is in reference to how the Puerto Rico media portrayed Alexa as a man with a skirt. Bad Bunny‘s message is that she wasn’t a man in a skirt, her name was Alexa.

Also during his appearance, Bad Bunny talked about performing at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show and revealed details of his new 20-song album YHLQMDLG. He announced that it arrives tomorrow (February 29) at 12 a.m EST. He also revealed the new album’s artwork – Watch it all after the cut here!
