Rob Kardashian loses emergency motion for primary custody of daughter Dream

Blac Chyna scored a victory in her ongoing custody battle with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian.

A Los Angeles judge denied Kardashian’s ex parte motion for primary custody of their daughter, Dream Kardashian, according to court documents, obtained by The Blast. In January, the former “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star, 32, filed an emergency motion that would allow Chyna, 31, only to see their 3-year-old during weekend visits with a monitor present. He claimed his ex’s alleged drug use made her a risk to Dream.

Khloé Kardashian, Rob’s sister, also filed a supplementary affidavit claiming she noticed Dream acted aggressively after spending time with her mother. Chyna denied the allegations.

The judge found no emergency in Chyna’s custody situation and denied Rob his motion. The reclusive reality star will, however, still be able to fight for increased custody but won’t be able to receive a quick decision from the judge. Instead, Rob will have to continue to go through a standard court procedure.

“All along, Chyna has only wanted to peacefully co-parent precious Dream with her ex-fiancé, Rob Kardashian,” Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, told Page Six in a statement Friday. “Chyna is an excellent mother who loves her son King Cairo and her daughter Dream Renée more than anything in this world.”

“The current custody arrangement for Dream agreed to by Rob long ago is working perfectly fine,” Ciani noted. “Dream gets to spend very special bonding time with her brother King and also time with her dad, who unquestionably loves his daughter very much.”

Ciani said in her statement that Rob and Khloé had “absolutely no basis” to file their ex parte application, which was then “illegally leaked” to media.

“[It] spread defamatory lies about Chyna and even about her long-time nanny,” Ciani’s statement said of the leak. “Chyna and her nanny have suffered significant emotional distress as a result.”

She also said the Lashed salon owner will continue to fight Rob and the rest of the Kardashian family for Dream.

“Chyna will not back down from Rob and his family’s attempt to take away her agreed-upon custody of Dream,” the statement read. “She will continue to take all necessary steps to protect her children, including defeating Rob’s and his family’s latest attempt to undermine Chyna’s joy as a mother to Dream and her ability to make a living as a single mother – without any child support from Rob.”

Rob’s attorney is yet to return Page Six’s request for comment.
