Teenage Fearne Cotton poses with Billie Piper in incredible 90s throwback snaps

Fearne Cotton has unveiled rare photos of herself from the 1990s as she gears up to present a brand new show.

The 38-year-old TV and radio presenter shared snaps taken in her teenage years showing her posing with then-BFF Billie Piper and wearing a Blossom hat.

With an adorably wonky fringe and her hair in bunches, teen Fearne leans against Billie – sporting a black adidas shell suit top, natch – as they both smile into the camera.

Another picture shows baby Fearne with crimped hair and a hat inspired by Mayim Bialik's character Blossom in the 1990s American sitcom.

A third is of her staring moodily into the distance as she sits in a garden, with a silver bangle wrapped around her upper arm.

And the fourth snap is of Fearne out and about in a club, sticking her tongue out at the camera as she holds up a drink and her friend goes to swig from a bottle.

Fearne joked in her caption: "Ahead of my new 90's music show on  @bbcsounds  I have dug out some old pictures that tick a lot of 90's boxes. Exhibit A-me and dear  @billiepiper  (both 15) who I saw a lot during that decade at work.

"Exhibit B- a hat inspired by Blossom. Exhibit C- a bracelet at the top of the arm. Pure discomfort l. Also note heather shimmer lipstick," she went on.

"Exhibit D- a trusty halter neck and alco pop."

Her friends and followers loved Fearne's nostalgic peek at the past, with many pointing out how she's barely changed.

"Awwww so cute," wrote S Club 7's Hannah Spearritt.

"You looked like that when you first interviewed me!!" Two Pints Of Lager star Will Mellor told Fearne.

"Yesss on Disney club!" she replied.

"Especially loving the pale lip/dark liner combo. Iconic," commented the author Juno Dawson.

Others pointed out how much Fearne's daughter Honey looks like her mum, especially in the second picture.

"Heather shimmer lipstick, vanilla impulse body spray too I bet," quipped another follower. "The joys of being a teenager in the 90s."
