The winter series of Love Island is over and now we’re all now back being single, having broken off our intense relationship with the sofa. However, now we are alone without out nightly romantic TV fix we cannot help but cast an eye back to our previously infatuation, Love Island 2019. How are they getting on and what are our favourite stars from last summer up to now? Let’s take a look…
Molly-Mae, and boyfriend Tommy Fury were always favourites to win the show. Although this dream was not realised the social media influencer seems to have won the game even so. She’s still loved up with boxer Tommy and they have just bought a place together in Manchester.
As successful in work as she is in love, after leaving Love Island Molly-Mae released a collection for Pretty Little Thing. They reportedly paid her £500,000 which is the most money of any Love Island 2019 star so far. We’re sure that cushioned the blow of losing out on the show’s prize money!
After Tommy fell in love with Molly-Mae things have gone from strength to strength for the brother of Tyson Fury. He has just released his own edit in collaboration with boohooMAN, which he told Heat World came as quite a surprise: “Seeing as I wear boxers that are one week old and sniff them before I put them on.”
He has also been competing in boxing, having returned to the ring in December with Molly’ in the stands cheering him on.
Greg was only on the hit show for two weeks, but the professional rugby player and law student managed to nab first place with his then-girlfriend Amber Gill.
However, after just over a month of dating the Irish star elected to dump Amber via text, which didn’t go down well and resulted in him losing 33,000 followers in two days as a result of the split. Not the best personal PR…
Luckily for Greg, however, his career is not hinged on being an influencer, his current focus is rugby and his position on Ireland’s national sevens team. However he has confirmed that he was planning on sitting the Law Society of Irelands entrance exams last autumn, saying: “I’m not going to forget about my life just because I won Love Island.”
While Amber may not have won Greg’s heart in the end, she sure as hell got her just desserts. The stunning star is now a millionaire having signed a deal with Miss Pap for a reported £1 million back in September. And how does she plan to spend her hard-earned cash?
Well, speaking to Closer magazine Amber was clear that her end goal is to revert back to her former career. "I’m going to be sensible with the money. I’ll probably treat myself a little bit, but I’m going to invest and be careful with it,” she said.
“I’ll definitely keep working with my auntie. We’ll still have the salon, and I’ll build from that – the goal would be opening a few more salons together. That was the idea before Love Island, so hopefully we’ll see what we can do.”
This man is doing Ovie-ly well! Even though he wasn’t crowned a winner he became the king of the nation’s hearts. After leaving the hit ITV show the basketball player went back to playing for Spanish team UCAM Murcia, but that is not the only place he is scoring. Back in Autumn he partnered up with fashion giant ASOS for a reported six-figure sum.
Sadly, however, Ovie and his partner India split back in October.
India is a keen chef and foodie who posts vegan dishes to her separate Instagram account: @recipesfromreyn. She is also was a brand ambassador for Boohoo, alongside Maura Higgins, which she has secured for a six month stint. We’re sure we’ll be seeing her face around for far longer than that though…
Fellow Boohoo babe Maura is smashing it, also securing a role as a brand ambassador to the fashion firm. But she’s not just a pretty face, the Irish firecracker has done presenting gigs on This Morning as an agony aunt in a segment Be More Maura and a guide to her home country in Love Ireland. However recently the star was competing in Dancing On Ice, however she won’t be continuing pulling shapes with her Love Island beau as she has recently split with her professional dancer boyfriend Curtis Pritchard.
Although him and Maura may now be over, Curtis has been busy behind the scenes. The dancer and his Strictly Come Dancing professional sibling filmed short segments for Lorraine. The premise was that they surprise people who are going through a rough time and bring a little magic into their lives by dancing. He has also become an ambassador for WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, starred as the receptionist on The Greatest Dancer and worked as a choreographer on Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
Sure there will be much more to come from Curtis and despite splitting with Maura he will prove you don’t need two to tango.
Anton and Belle Hassan have split up. The make-up artist is said to have "dumped him because he was spending too much time partying and his obsession with Craig David made her feel awkward." This brings us nicely on to how the Scot made money after leaving the show. Ironically he has partnered with social media video app Tik Tok and has been advertising the platform by uploading strange videos of him pretending to kiss Craig to his Instagram.
Anton now works as a personal trainer and has a fitness app where people can do classes online called AntonFitness.
Single Belle is still working as a make up artist as well as harnessing her one million followers for influencer causes. Watch this space.
After her break up with Jordan Hames, the sexy pharmacist is now single. In fact she’s been partying with none other than Drake and been spotted walking hand in hand with a mystery man in London. She also released a collection with shoe brand Simmi shoes along with her sister Mandi as well as an edit for In The Style.
Despite his profession as a model there have not been any lucrative campaigns given to the posing veteran Jordan. However he has released an underwear brand called House of Hames. While previously linked to TOWIE star Ferne McCann he is now loved up with Dancing On Ice star Vanessa Bauer.
