  • GOOD MORNING, ARSENAL FANS

Well, it was heartbreak at the Emirates.

Arsenal went into the second-leg against Olympiacos with a one goal advantage from Greece.

But the Gunners blew it away.

After Pape Abou Cisse put Olympiacos 1-0 up in the game and level in the tie, it went to extra-time.

Skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang thought he had netted a dramatic equaliser 113th minute with bicycle kick that spectacularly hit the net.

But Olympiacos shattered hearts with just a minute to go after Youssef El-Arabi latched onto a cross and put the away side 2-1 up and on route to a shock win.

There was room for late drama, though.

As a ball was lumped into the Olympiacos box it fell to Aubameyang who somehow from just yards out put his effort wide – and that was all she wrote.

The Gunners skipper was left in tears as Arsenal lost for the first time in 2020 and were knocked out of the Europa League.

  • Aubameyang missed a sitter to win the game at the death

  • CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang really should have won it with seconds left for the Gunners.

But that's it. They are out!

Olympiacos celebrate wildly in North London – what a result for those travelling Greek fans.
