  • MORNING, CHELSEA FANS

Chelsea will be brimming with confidence when they return to action this weekend after Tuesday’s win over Liverpool.

On Sunday, Frank Lampard’s men will welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge.

Fans will be hoping Billy Gilmour starts the match after his promising performance against Jurgen Klopp’s league leaders.

It has been revealed that Chelsea’s deal to sign him was one of the reasons behind their transfer ban – but fans reckon he was worth it.

On social media, one fan said: “Gilmour’s transfer to Chelsea one of the transfer that caused us to get a transfer ban? WELL WORTH IT.”

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are reportedly set to try and prise Marcos Alonso away Lampard’s side this summer.

The Blues are thought to be demanding around £26million for the defender – who is under contract with the club until 2021.

Inter are set to have a vacancy in that position with Calciomercato reporting that they could lose Cristiano Biraghi.

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard’s side could battle it out against the Italian side for Genoa starlet Nicolo Rovella.

He has only played 28 minutes in the Italian top-flight this season, but Calciomercato claim that has not deterred the two clubs.

  • HUD ENOUGH

Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly suffered a fresh injury setback.

The Athletic's Liam Twomey claims the 19-year-old aggravated his injured hamstring today.

But the extent of the injury has not yet been confirmed.

Either way, it's awful news for Frank Lampard and Co.

  • STER THE POT

Leicester have joined Chelsea in the race to sign Porto full-back Alex Telles.

The Foxes were linked to the 27-year-old last summer, but failed to lure him away from the Portuguese club.

FourFourTwo claim Leicester are the “most likely rival” in Chelsea's pursuit for the defender.

  • IS HE A KEPA?

Frank Lampard has hinted Kepa could return to Prem action against Everton this weekend.

Check out his stats so far this season in the mean time.

  • UR ON THE LIST

Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Ugurcan Cakir to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Fotospor claim the Trabzonspor keeper has caught Frank Lampard's after his excellent spell of form this season.

But the Blues will face competition from Liverpool for the 23-year-old's signature this summer.
