Nothing slips past Conor McGregor fans.
The UFC fighter’s Instagram post on Monday became the topic of conversation for more than just his shark skin suit. In the photo, the 32-year-old McGregor was sporting a black left eye.
It’s unknown how the world’s richest athlete got the shiner, but fans assumed in the comments that it was from sparring.
“My boy got rocked in sparring,” one commented.
“Who gave you that black eye king?” another asked.
Some fans even joked that the injury was given to McGregor by Jake Paul, who has been trying to lure McGregor into a fight for months.
“The Notorious” McGregor will go face-to-face with Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas on July 10 at UFC 264 for the third fight in their trilogy.
Seven years ago, McGregor won their first bout, but in January fell in their rematch when Poirier knocked the Irishman out in shocking fashion.
