Casa Amor bombshell Mary Bedford is currently trying her luck on Love Island following a tumultuous dating history.
The 22-year-old entered the Casa Amor villa on Friday, July 23, and has kept fans wondering what led her to apply for the ITV2 dating show.
Mary, who hails from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, isn't exactly a stranger to the limelight, as she worked as an Instagram influencer before heading to the Balearic island to find love.
Boasting a whopping 220k followers on the social media platform, as well as just under 2K subscribers on YouTube, the blonde beauty is used to living a lavish lifestyle.
Her social media snaps show her seemingly endless holidays in the sun, with the star heading to both Ibiza and Dubai in the past few months where she partied with a host of other famous faces.
In fact, the islander already has ties to former contestants of the show, including 2019 winner Amber Gill, and the same season's runner-up, Molly-Mae Hague.
They have both congratulated Mary on social media ahead of her TV debut and no doubt will be on hand to offer any advice after the show comes to an end.
And it doesn't end there – Mary has actually dated a very famous former islander, with the fling only happening a few months ago.
Chris Hughes, 28, who scooped third prize with his ex Olivia Attwood in 2017, had a brief romance with new bombshell Mary in 2020.
They were spotted kissing on a date in London last year following his split from former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson.
However, it seems like Mary has had a pretty rocky love life before joining the cast of Love Island.
The star revealed all in a video recently shared to her YouTube channel on June 26, titled "SUSHI & GIRL CHATS WITH MY BEST FRIEND!!!!"
Joined by best friend and fellow influencer Arianna Atjar, Mary opened up about a cheating ex-boyfriend.
The stunner took part in a fan-submitted Q&A session as she munched on some sushi whilst sat in her kitchen.
One fan asked the pair: "Could you forgive a cheater? And do you believe in a second chance?"
Mary responded: "Before, with my ex, I forgave him. I was young – I'm talking like 18 or 19 – and we'd been together four years.
"When I found out last time that he'd been cheating, we'd been living together three years.
"I was like 20 at the time, I was just like 'I can't get back with you'".
The star continued: "He is sorry and I've forgiven him and everything happens for a reason.
"Now I've grown up, I have more respect for myself so there's no way. I'm a person who likes revenge as well so i just couldn't do it.
"I'm working on forgiving people."
When asked by ITV why she had applied to go on Love Island, she said: “I have the worst luck, ever, with boys.
"Genuinely the worst ever. I always get dragged into the same circle of boys. So I was like, I need to go in another direction."
Mary told producers that she had her eye on Welshman Liam Reardon but she ended up locking lips with semi-professional footballer Toby Aromolaran in the first few hours after entering Casa Amor.
Viewers saw Toby get close to Mary, who leant in for a kiss during a game of truth or dare as the rest of the group looked on cheering.
Talking later in the Beach Hut about his intimate encounter with Mary, Toby said: "She's very passionate and I think I like that."
They've since gotten even closer and have shared a bed every night at Casa Amor.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2
