Inside Mrs Hinch’s home renovation – from grey interiors to a swanky kitchen

Mrs Hinch has transformed her home in recent months.

The influencer, whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, has got her house looking even more chic than it did before.

She has renovated her Essex-based property by giving it stylish grey interiors that she’s famed for.

The 30-year-old has also made her kitchen more functional by knocking through a wall to create a window.

This peep-hole, which she has affectionately nicknamed the “drive-thru”, allows her to chat to friends and family while she’s cooking or cleaning.

Other changes include adding decorations and keeping her items tucked away in grey and white containers.

Mrs Hinch has given her 3.1 million followers sneak peeks of the building work as it’s been going on.

And now her kitchen renovation is complete, she’s been able to do a big reveal.

On her Instagram stories, the housework whiz showed off the results.

Main tweaks involved changing the brown and white colour scheme.

The tidying-up guru prefers cooler-toned furniture, so opted for grey worktops instead.

Mrs Hinch also made other changes, including building shelves.

Cute ornaments were placed over her sink, including hanging plants which give the room a pop of colour.

The social media star also enjoys arranging her bits and bobs into eye-catching containers.

Her tea and coffee are in their own canisters, while some of her food products are shown off in glass jars.

Sophie has even gone to the trouble of arranging her cleaning cloths onto a sink rack so they don’t look untidy – genius!

The transformation that Mrs Hinch has been raving about the most is her “drive-thru”.

A couple of weeks ago, she asked builders to cut a large peep-hole into the side of her kitchen.

This allows her to go about her daily chores – and still see what’s going on her dining room.

Knocking through the wall has proven to be handy.

In recent days, Sophie handed friends ice-cream through the “drive-thru” after serving them dinner.

Yesterday, Mrs Hinch took to Instagram to rave about the finished results.

She wrote: “Good evening guys, welcome to the Hinch drive-thru. I hope you all love it just as much as I do!

“Honestly I can’t even explain how happy I am just standing in this kitchen , wiping down the worktops, shining the sink, filling my jars and labelling everything!”

Sophie added that she’s gifted her parents some of her old furniture and units, so it feels like home when she goes to visit them.

She explained: “I also love the fact that I can still technically visit my old kitchen too by popping down to my parents house.”

The post concludes: “One of the most amazing feelings which I’ll never get over is treating my parents and seeing them so excited!

“My mum smiled so much when I surprised her with the softest carpet in their house – and now my Dad enjoys sitting in their new out kitchen with his cup of coffee.

“Never forget that now and then it’s good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just take it all in.

“All the best guys , thank you so much for your amazing messages, support, comments and friendship.”

Mrs Hinch’s homeware snap racked up £219,000 likes – and many gushed over the transformation.

One responder wrote: “I love that you keep the same house and just adapted it to make you happy.

“I really want to do this to my home.”

Another said: “Oh my goodness your kitchen looks beautiful.

“Fab choices (as always) love it!!”

And a third added: “Kitchen goals right there.”
