My abusive husband scares me but I’m stuck here with him in lockdown – The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: MY abusive husband scares me but I’m stuck here with him in the current situation.

He’s an alcoholic, smokes weed and takes cocaine. He messages other women and has been out with a few too.

He makes nasty verbal put-downs and yelled at me when I called him out for cheating. I can’t afford to leave but he gets angry if I try to talk to him.

We haven’t had sex in years. He doesn’t even like me that way any more. I’m 40 and he’s 42.

I’m scared he’ll turn violent stuck here together every day.

DEIDRE SAYS: No one should face fear and abuse like this. There is support to help you out of such an abusive relationship and fear for your safety is an accepted reason to leave your home.
