Paige Spiranac hits out at ex-boyfriend for 'getting under her skin' with annoying habit while caddying for her

PAIGE SPIRANAC hilariously recalled how her ex-boyfriend used to CHEW while she was trying to line up a shot on the golf course.

The former professional turned social media star used to have her significant other caddying for her around the course.

But that didn't last very long, largely thanks to one particularly annoying habit that they had whenever she lined up a shot.

Speaking on her her podcast Playing a Round with Paige Renee, 28-year-old Spiranac joked about what excuses she had for when she hit a wayward strike.

And one immediately sprang to mind.

She recalled: "I had a significant other caddy for me… I've done that twice, never do that it is not a good combination.

"A pet peeve of mine is when people chew loudly, I despite it."

She added: "What he would do to get under my skin, he did this on purpose.

"He would take a bite of food right before he would line me up (to take a shot), so he would be in my ear lining me up, chewing on one of those Nature Valley bars."

Spiranac couldn't stand the eating, which would always come just as she was about to take a shot.

She continued: "And you know those are like the most crunchy things ever, I think because he just hated me, it was a very toxic relationship.

"And he would just chew in my ear and I would just be standing there ready to hit my shot just getting more and more worked up."

Spiranac retired from playing professionally back in 2016, and now posts YouTube videos helping people learn to play the game.

She recently sent fans into a frenzy by posing in a green Masters jacket… and NOTHING underneath as she prepared for the action at Augusta to get underway.

The Masters starts on Thursday April 7.
