Peter Kay comeback tickets expected to sell out in just minutes

Tickets for Peter Kay’s comeback shows were expected to sell out “in minutes” this morning.

Kay, 46, is doing six Dance for Life gigs as DJ PK in Manchester, Liverpool and London after a three-year break.

Tickets went on sale at 9am but many fans were expected to be left disappointed. A source said: “He’s the biggest comedy star in Britain and we’ve not seen him for years. It’s the hottest ticket in town.”

In late 2017, Kay cancelled all work projects due to “unforeseen family circumstances”.

Fans were desperate to get tickets to catch him in April and May. One posted: “Cancel everything we NEED to get tickets.”
