KILLER CLOWN (4.05 Aintree, nap)

He was impressive when scoring in decent company at Kempton last time.

He finished strongly and jumped beautifully so these big fences should hold no fears.

FAKIR D’OUDAIRIES (3.30 Aintree, nb)

He won this race by an easy 11 lengths last year and can follow up for trainer Joseph O’Brien.

He has run well on all four starts this season with a Grade 2 win a Clonmel to kick off and a game Ascot Chase victory last time out.

Connections opted to swerve the Festival and come here a fresh horse, which boost his chances.

L’HOMME PRESSE (2.55 Aintree, treble)

He has done nothing but improve this season and he was impressive when taking the Brown Advisory by a comfortable three-and-a-half lengths at the Cheltenham Festival.

That built on his 21-length victory in the Grade 1 Scilly Isles at Sandown when Charlie Deutsch didn’t have to move a muscle.

He has yet to taste defeat in five chase outings and he can extend that record here.
