Reebok collaborations have been firing out left and right lately. The brand has partnered with the s of Dime, Maharishi and Street Fighter to produce new footwear capsules, and now it’s broadening its catalog with a new Zig Kinetica 2.5 Edge project alongside South2 West8.
This serves as a follow-up to the duo’s flying fish-inspired Zig Kinetica 2.5 Edge makeup that was released this past October. This time out, the Sapporo-based imprint has leaned into a more muted palette. From an up-close perspective, you’ll notice that muted tree graphics are applied to the side panels. These are formulated with CORDURA fabric — as marked by a tab on the lateral heels — which provides wearers with more durability which is key when walking through different outdoor terrains. The throat is locked in with a toggle system and features flecked laces that are styled with green hits. Downstairs, the semi-chunky midsoles come outfitted with green speckles and are marked with a Vibram hit towards the heel which references its bottom treading.
Lifestyle images of the pair can be viewed in the gallery above, and you can expect these to release via Reebok come December 17 via official Nepenthes outlets for $170 USD.
In other news, peep a look at Reebok’s second “Human Rights Now!” collection.
