SUN Racing is back to give you some insight on big horses at even bigger prices.
Read on to find out who we think can land the spoils on Sunday.
Longshot POYLE VINNIE (3.25 Wolverhampton)
He hasn’t won since last year but that success came in the 23-runner Stewards’ Sprint at Glorious Goodwood so he has enough quality.
He has been paying for that ever since but the handicapper has relented and dropped him to 9lb lower than that mark.
He went close at Pontefract last month coming back from a long break before not being the first horse to underperform on the fibresand at Southwell.
Anything like his best form would see him on the podium.
Each way thief LIGHTNING GOLD (1.03 Exeter)
This five-year-old has shown promise in bumpers including when third at Chepstow last time returning from eight months off.
She was sent for home a long way out and boxed on well to suggest this step up to three miles could be a wise move.
She should have more to offer now she’s jumping a hurdle.
PRESENT VALUE (1.33 Exeter)
Evan Williams’ six-year-old showed promise this time last year when finishing second on his chasing debut at Aintree.
He didn’t really match that form but is back in handicaps now from what could be a lowly enough mark to figure.
His effort at Exeter last time suggested he would improve fitness-wise and this contest looks wide open.
Aside from these, SunSport resident tipster Templegate has picked a horse in each race on Sunday. EXETER 12.03 Monmiral
Winner in France who can make a winning start for Paul Nicholls.
12.33 L’Air Du Vent
Showed promise when third on his chasing debut last time out.
1.03 Whiskey Lullaby
Went close on her hurdles debut latest and more to come.
Well backed when sixth last time and capable of better.
2.08 SOLAR IMPULSE (NAP)
Continues in good form and handicapped to win again.
2.43 Spirit Of Rome
Didn’t get going last time after a game win two starts ago.
Not beaten far when fourth on comeback at Chepstow last time.
3.53 Freddy Fanatapan (treble)
Down the weights and showed promise at Chepstow latest.
UTTOXETER 12.18 I’m So Busy
Second for Jessica Harrington latest and yard does well with newcomers.
12.48 Princess Roxy
Back from a long break with a solid third at Bangor last month.
1.18 Coquelicot (nb)
Won three bumpers and good second on hurdles debut latest.
1.53 Misty Whisky
Has gone close on last three runs and has had wind op ahead of comeback.
Sneaks in at bottom of weights and went well at Aintree on return.
3.03 Dawson City
Rusty last time and takes a drop in grade today.
3.38 Florrie Knox
Solid second in a better grade than this at Hexham last time out.
WOLVERHAMPTON 1.40 Hiroshi
Went close at Newcastle last time and stays on same mark today.
Bred to be special and can make winning start for top yard.
Ran on strongly when second at Chelmsford last time.
Beaten less than a length on his past two runs off this mark.
Back at novice level and can improve for Sir Michael Stoute.
4.30 The British Lion
Hollie Doyle takes over as he drops down the weights.
5.00 Critical Thinking
Has dropped to just 1lb higher than last win around here.
5.30 Doctor Nuno
Had plenty in hand when winning over 7f here last time out.
