Tasteless mansion with animal skulls inside glass floor hits market for £2.2m

An extravagant home with Native American themed decor has sent Instagram users wild as it hits the market for $2.9million (£2.2m), with some saying it proves "money can't buy taste".

The six-bedroom property in Joplin, Missouri is covered in hunting-related items from animal fur throws to deer heads and antlers hanging on the walls like trophies.

In one of the living areas, there are portraits of Native American chiefs hanging on a bare-wood wall.

Most peculiar of all the hunting decorations is the glass-panelled floor that contains animals skulls among rocks – painting the picture of a modernised Western movie.

Looking beyond that, the home also has seven bathrooms, a pool, a lavish wine rack, breakfast bar, cinema room and a 'Dior' inspired designer closet.

Posting the home to Zillow Gone Wild on Instagram, the estate agent wrote: "Here’s an 11,200sf $2.95 million home in Joplin MO that looks like two different homes combined into one and has a two-story main bedroom “Dior” closet."

Fans flocked to the comments on the post with 22.7k likes to share their fascination for the combination of the luxury 'Dior' inspired features that clash with the Native American styles of other rooms.

One user wrote: "It’s a seamless integration of our two styles!"
