After his fiancé tries on the pieces, Thomas says: ‘I like that. Actually my first thought then was, “I wish I hadn’t seen that.”
Thomas leaves to avoid spoiling any more wedding surprises, while Famy and Sarah quiz the assistant on how much the set cost.
But the bride-to-be is left heartbroken to discover that the set costs £145 and is well and truly out of her budget of £30.
She reveals: ‘I was hoping for it to come under £30. These are stunning, but I’m on a tight budget.’
Although Famy is disappointed with her original hunt for jewellery, her spirits are lifted when she sees her dress for the first time.
The bride-to-be purchased the gown online, originally priced at £1,000, without ever having tried it on or even seen it in real life.
However, the risk pays off and Famy loves the pre-owned dress, revealing that she bagged it for just £100.

‘I like this dress because it makes me look taller,’ says Famy, ‘This is pre-owned and it was previously £1,000 and I got it for £100. It’s been dry cleaned and everything.’
But another challenge soon arises when planning their food, with the couple soon realising their budget isn’t large enough to cover a hot buffet – and £10 a head, the pair can’t even afford to serve burgers on their big day.
While planning their menu, Famy says: ‘We have pizzas and canapes which is about 90 per cent of our budget, which is scary. I am worried it’s not enough food for everyone.’
The couple are then made to reduce the food even further, and enlist the help of their friends to bring along dishes.
They also ask Thomas’ mother to make hundreds of sandwiches for the big day.
