So what if we said you could have a filter flawless base, without having to splash out on any expensive new products.

The latest beauty hack to storm the internet is this five-step foundation trick, and all you have to do is change the order in which you put your products on.

Your entire base can look different day to day if you use different skincare products or use different technique to apply them, but Parisian make-up artist Violette has a very specific routine she sticks to make your foundation look like second skin.

She starts doing a clients make-up by a hydrating mask – not that we have time to do this day to day – and then if she wants foundation to say all day long, she'll add a light layer of a primer – the less product the better.

Then, she's straight into foundation, starting in the center of the face and blending outwards.

Most make up artists follow this routine, adding in highlighter and concealer where they need too and powdering once they've finished using their cream products.

But, not Tik Tok user Bekah Leigh, @bekahleigh26, who has completely changed the make-up game by applying four products before her foundation.

Bekah starts by applying a few dots of the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Proofing Oil-Free Moisturiser, then dusting the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder all over.

Then, she generously spritzes her face with the Rimmel Insta Fix and Go setting spray, and applies the Sleek Hydrating Primer.

All before she mixes the Maybelline Superstay and L'Oreal Paris Infalliable 24 Hour foundations and applies them with a beauty blender, and then a brush.

Another beauty fan Jarida, @ridaaaamat posted the video days before Bekah, saying: "If you wear makeup, watch, change your whole routine and try this instead".
