What time does Morrisons open today? Delivery and click and collect advice – The Sun

MORRISONS is open every day of the week for you to pick up groceries and more.

There are still a number of Covid rules in place for shoppers though, and we explain all you need to know about ordering your groceries online.

When are Morrisons stores opening and closing?

Morrisons opening hours are usually from 7am until 10pm Monday to Saturday.

On a Sunday, opening hours are typically 9.30am to 4pm, apart from in Scotland where stores are open from 8am to 8pm.

This can vary between stores though so it's best to check your nearest store with Morrisons' store finder tool.

When is the best time to shop there?

Google has a tracker which allows you to see when the peak times are.

If you search for “Morrisons” and then click on your nearest store, it will show a bar chart of when the store’s busiest times are.

For example, for its Manchester store near the Piccadilly Gardens tram stop, the busiest hours are between noon and 2pm on weekdays.

What are the shopping rules for Morrisons?

Morrisons still has a number of rules shoppers are expected to follow while shopping in stores – even though Covid restrictions dramatically eased following Freedom Day in July.

There isn't a limit on items anymore, but in September last year it introduced a three per person limit on a few key products, including toilet roll and disinfectant.

There are marshals on the doors at Morrisons as well as perspex screens at tills.

Shoppers are encouraged to wear a face covering unless exempt.

Customers without one will be offered a free face covering by staff so they can continue to pick up groceries.

Online delivery options and click and collect advice

Morrisons says it can expect high demand for online delivery slots, so the supermarket recommends checking back regularly for availability.

Customers can see slots up to six days in advance while vulnerable shoppers and those who have a delivery pass can see slots up to 21 days ahead.

Delivery costs between £2 and £7 depending on the slot or with a delivery pass, it ranges from £5 per month to £65 a year depending on the times you choose.

If you can't get a home delivery slot, you can click and collect from 440 locations and you can check where your closest store is with the store locator tool.

Morrisons also offers delivery through Amazon for Amazon Prime members.

This usually has same-day delivery slots but at times where there is high demand, there is now virtual queuing in place and Amazon will notify shoppers when slots become available.

A savvy shopper has shared a Morrisons shopping hack that lets you get cheese extra cheap.
