While she is slimmer in the first one, she is wearing a wide smile and oozes confidence in the second.
Bella told her 187,000 followers: “‘My body looks different than it used to,’ I say while resting my hand on my tummy. It has extra rolls now and bounces when I touch it.
“My thighs and butt are laced with lumps and stretch marks, and my arms are softer and jiggle when I walk.”
While Bella used to obsess over these changes, she has learned to embrace them.
She explained: “My body has changed and grown over the years and although the changes have been hard to accept, I refuse to feel ashamed about my body changing.
“I understand body changes can be difficult to navigate, so I wanted to remind you that you don’t owe anyone thinness and share some things with you that will hopefully help you with your body struggles today.
“Weight gain – gaining weight is NOT shameful. It’s okay to gain weight. It’s normal for your body to change. Remember this, your weight may have changed, but your worth has not.
“Arms – your arms have allowed you to hug those you love, carry babies and embrace furry friends. Your arms aren’t a problem area. They don’t need fixing. So stop hiding behind cardigans and wear the tank top because your arms deserve to be seen.”
Bella added: “Legs – your legs are powerful and strong. They allow you to dance, move and exercise. They have held and supported you. The dimples that lace your legs are lumps and bumps of love, and your stretch marks are a map of your growth. Your legs aren’t flawed or disgusting. They are normal!
“Butt – Squishy. Round. Square. Tiny. Perky. Lopsided. Flat. Dimply. Saggy. Spotty butts are all normal. All butts are good butts. All butts are cute butts.
“Stretch marks – are an incredible reminder that your body stretched without breaking! Your skin allows you to move, feel and grow and your stretch marks are a reminder of the incredible growth your body experienced!
“Tummy – your belly is allowed to be soft, squish, roll, bulge and stick out! You deserve to let go of the shame and guilt you carry around your tummy because softness isn’t shameful.”
The self love guru rounded off her post by urging others to be kinder to themselves.
Bella concluded: “I hope you know your body deserves to enjoy intimacy without feeling shame.
“It deserves to go on holiday and wear the bikini without feeling the need to cover up. It deserves to be seen. Exactly as it is.
“Remember, your body is supposed to change queen and with change comes growth.”
The influencer’s post garnered dozens of positive comments – and many agreed with her sentiment.
One commenter said: “This was a much needed reminder today.”
Another remarked: “Thank you for the lovely work you do by sharing these thoughts of yours and awareness of toxic diet culture in general. Very much appreciated!”
A third responded: Needed this after Facebook showed me my thinner body from 10 years ago…
“Two babies later, I am working on accepting my new shape.”
And another added: “Such an inspiring message!”
