But after a quick stop by Dr Gaddas' office, Roy's health was put on the backburner.
Throughout the week, however, he has made it clear the pains haven't dissipated and his friend Evelyn Plummer (played by Dame Maureen Lipman) implored him to see his heart specialist.
Sadly, tonight's trip to the cobbles will turn into a nightmare for Roy and Evelyn.

But Dr Gaddas explained this would be unlikely.
While she tried to reassure him by booking him for some further tests in hospital, Evelyn Plummer told Roy she wasn't at ease.
She then made it clear to him there was no other way around it – she would be supporting him through his tests, no matter what he said.
Fans of the Manchester-based program have tried to figure out what Roy is suffering from and theorised he could be allergic to his dog Freddie.
