Emmerdale fans worried Faith Dingle will be killed off in tragic cancer twist
Emmerdale fans are growing increasingly worried about Faith Dingle, as she was spotted popping pills in the café while talking to daughter Chas.
As Chas wanted her mum to be more open with her and stop keeping secrets, Faith vowed she would be – but, as soon as Chas's back was turned, got out a bottle of pills and quickly swallowed a couple.
Fans are now worried that Faith's cancer has returned, and she could be killed off in a tragic twist.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Faith is going to have an illness soon…", as another fretted: "So is Faith gonna croak it?"
A third viewer penned: "What is wrong with Faith?!"
"Faith needs to confide in Chas about her health struggles," someone else desperately appealed.
Faith was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 and underwent a double mastectomy.
However, things went wrong while she was going under the knife, as she experienced a cardiac arrest while on the operating table.
And with Faith fretting about her health, Manpreet finally convinces her to undergo some tests to find out what's wrong next week.
Pollard is set to twig something's wrong with his former flame, but before he can do anything about it, Faith unexpectedly collapses in front of Eric.
Manpreet quickly organises an emergency MRI and admits Faith to the hospital, where she raises her fears with Eric that her cancer may have indeed returned.
Faith begs Pollard to keep quiet about the hospital trip until she knows what's wrong with her and can tell her friends and family properly – but will he keep his word?
Faith actress Sally Dexter has teased that her character might have "limited time left", telling Daily Star that if the storyline does take a tragic turn Faith "will cope with it stoically."
"I think she will discover strength that she didn't know she had. Always with humour, because that's her way to cope ad it strengthens her. She doesn't want to go around being a wet blanket for anybody else," the actress shared.
"If she's got limited time, she's going to live it to the nth degree and have the best time she possibly could.
