Darren McCaffrey and Rosie Wright kicked off the first Great British Breakfast of the week by discussing the proposed plans for “freedom day” on July 19. However, GB News fans weren’t happy with the morning show and took to Twitter to blast the studio for being “too dark” and “hard to watch”.

One tweeted: “Visually GBNews studio is still in ‘dark mode’ in the morning! Does anyone else find this unnerving and hard to watch? #TwilightZone #GBNewsfails #afneil.”

Another shared: “@GBNEWS I’d like you to be a viable alternative but virtually everything you do is wrong. Breakfast programme. The set is too dark. It looks like it’s being broadcast from a cave.

“It just looks awkward. Sorry but the three alternatives just do it so much better.”

“@AlStewartOBE @gbnews the studio set up looks like a podcast not tv studio. I tried to support GB News but it’s too dark and cluttered,” a third added.
