HOLLY Willouhgby has predicted that England will beat Germany in tonight’s Euros clash – thanks to her psychic banana.
The 40-year-old – who has had an impressive success rate with the piece of fruit – turned to it once again to find out the results of tonight’s game, and was delighted by the outcome.
Holly asked the banana if England would win before cutting through the tip of the fruit to reveal a Y-shape inside, indicating a yes.
Before slicing it, she said: "If it's a dot it's a no. If it's a Y it's a yes."
Clearly delighted, Holly squealed: “It’s a yes! We are going to win the Euros.”
Three Lions then started playing around the studio as both Phil Schofield and Holly celebrated.
The trick can be done with any old banana, using the shape inside to answer yes or no questions.
The banana has had previous success, correctly predicting that Kate Middleton had given birth to a baby boy in 2018.
England line-up for tonight’s showdown are favourites to win after topping their qualifying group without conceding a goal.
The Germans finished runners-up in their group and have already been beaten.
A quarter-final place against either Sweden or Ukraine in Rome is the prize for tonight’s winners — with the dreaded prospect of a penalty shoot-out if the knockout game stays deadlocked.
England were favourites to win through to the last eight at 3/4 last night with Germany at 21/20.
