Rob Brydon mocks Pussycat Dolls outfit backlash on Saturday Night Takeaway

Comedian Rob Brydon made light of the backlash Saturday Night Takeaway received this week, with the help of hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.

Last weekend, the Pussycat Dolls performed on the show while mocking recent complaints that their outfits were inappropriate.

But the girls sparked even more complaints in doing this, with some viewers not happy with the raunchy performance and attire.

SNT and the boys were ready to show their support for the ladies though, making reference to it on the latest show.

Rob was more than happy to do the same too, joking he would be willing to don a similar outfit if asked.

He told Ant and Dec: "I do have one request… I saw the Pussycat Dolls on last week's show.

"If you think I'm going to dress in a leather corset…"

Dec interrupted: "Rob, we wouldn't dream of asking you to do that."

It's then that Rob added: "Let me finish Dec," before making a hilarious comment and supporting the Pussycat Dolls.

He said: "If you think I'm going to dress in a leather corset, knee high PVC boots, and perform three minutes of highly explicit dancing, you'd be absolutely right."

As the audience cheered, Ant and Dec feigned surprise.

Gavin and Stacey star Rob went on: "Boys, all I'm saying is if the script called for it and people wished their girlfriends were hot like me, I'm prepared to do it."

As the crowd cheered, Dec went on: "He's here all night, fully clothed we hope."

He and Ant then admitted: "We love Rob Brydon," while fans watching at home also loved the moment.

Saturday Night Takeaway continues at 7pm next Saturday on ITV.
