Spoilers: Ian reveals the truth about Dennis' death in EastEnders?
Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) returned in EastEnders several weeks back at Kathy’s (Gillian Taylforth) request following an incident which saw Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) ends up in a pretty bad way, but — with Ian (Adam Woodyatt) having been responsible for the demise of Dennis Rickman (Bleu Landau) — it appears as if tensions are somewhat high between Peter and his dad in the coming episodes. Will Ian reveal the truth as a result?
With Dennis’ online bullying having resulted in Bobby ending up the victim of an Islamophobic attack, Ian sought revenge on best mate Sharon’s (Letitia Dean) son on the day of the boat party. However, with disaster striking on board, Ian did his best to free the young man from the captivity which he put him in.
Unfortunately, Dennis died on the day in question as a result of Ian’s revenge plan.
While Bobby was in the hospital, Kathy asked Peter to come and stay with him, as she had urgent business to tend to with Ben (Max Bowden).
Tensions having seemingly been running high ever since, and in the coming episodes, Peter gives his dad the cold shoulder, as he believes him to be responsible for Dennis’ death.
However, after he speaks to both Dotty (Milly Zero) and Bobby, he decides to hear Ian out.
The question is: will Ian reveal the truth?
We know that he’s feeling incredibly guilty over what’s happened, but will he decide to come clean?
One to watch: Monday 2 March at 8pm on BBC One.
