During Wednesday’s visit to the BBC studios, Janette Manrara welcomed viewers back to the show as she caught up with celebrity couples Tony Adams and Katya Jones and Dianne and Tyler on the spin-off show.
The TV presenter couldn’t help but quiz the stars on their upcoming routines ahead of Saturday night’s big performance as they explained how they had improved over the week.
But training hasn’t been going quite as smoothly as it appears on the live show, after the Australian dancer almost suffered a major injury in the dance studios.
This week, the successful couple will be performing the Paso Doble to the song Unstoppable by E.S. Posthumus as they hope to wow the judges with their powerful dance moves.
Janette explained: “You're doing the paso doble but you have a very different name for it – you compare it to wrestling? Tell me about this please?”
Failing not to laugh, the television presenter admitted: “It’s a bit like wrestling because it’s so intense. I felt so strong moving around the dancefloor.”
It was at this point that the TV host worryingly said: “I really hope you're not throwing Dianne on the floor” as the fiery redhead turned to her celebrity partner with a knowing look on her face.
She confessed: “We had an incident today, didn’t we?” as the radio presenter quickly passed the blame onto her, adding: “Yeah, but that was your fault though, wasn’t it? It was your fault.”
The Aussie belle explained: “I thought I'd broke my nose today” before she quickly reassured viewers: “I didn’t, it’s all good, it’s intact, it’s there.”
