Where is Liar filmed? Filming locations include Kent, London and Essex – The Sun

LIAR had the nation hooked when ITv aired season one.

The show is back for a second helping and with it returns with those idyllic filming locations

Where is Liar filmed?

Liar was filmed around London, Kent and Essex.

The second series centres around the murder mystery of who killed Andrew.

Starring Joanna Froggett and Ioan Gruffudd, the show has an idyllic backdrop of the gorgeous Kent coastline and Essex marshes.

Kent

Viewers living in Deal on the south-east coast may recognise some of the scenery as plenty of filming was done in this area.

Deal Pier is one of the main focuses on the show.
You can visit the restaurant called Deal Pier Kitchen and feel like you are on the show.

Another local restaurant Deal Beach Parlour was also used for filming.

As for the characters' homes, the producers selected houses from the Kent area simply by knocking on people's doors in the hope of finding the ideal location.

One Kingsdown home was redecorated by the set designers to look like a family home with young children.

The house – on Wellington Parade in Kingsdown – features heavily in the series.

Essex

The initial scene of the first episode, where lead character Laura is canoeing through stunning marshland, can be found in Tollesbury in Essex.

The area is heavily used for series two.

This is because it is where Andrew's dead body was washed up.

London

The series was also shot in London.

A lot of the interior scenes were shot in a studio in the capital.

When is Liar season 2 being released?

After a VERY long wait, Liar is returning to ITV THIS MONDAY (March 2, 2020).

It will air at 9pm.

This new series will run for six episodes, all of which will be available on the ITV Hub after they have aired.

The first series aired in 2017, so fans have been waiting patiently for its return.
