Will Kirk stars on BBC One’s The Repair Shop as a carpenter, and he has restored many precious items. The 36-year-old furniture restorer watched his grandfather in his workshop and developed an interest in antiques. Fans are keen to know more about the craftsman, including who he is married to.
Who is Will Kirk’s wife?
For those who follow Will Kirk on social media, they will know he was due to marry his long-term girlfriend before the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the wedding plans had to be put on hold when the lockdown was imposed, but he was able to tie the knot earlier this year.
In August 2021, he married girlfriend Polly Snowdon and said it was the “best day of his life”.
Polly, a qualified doctor, and Will had to postpone their wedding in 2020 when lockdown hit.
This made the big day all the more special when it finally arrived, and they were married at the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester.
Will shared some beautiful photos of the pair in the Cotswold village of Bibury after their ceremony.
His wife Polly works as a Trainee Child, Community and Educational Psychologist at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
She studied Psychology at the University of Exeter and went on to gain a doctorate in Education Psychology at Essex University.
In November 2021, fans were given insight into Will and Polly’s modern and minimalist home.
Through social media posts, Will offered glimpses of his Wandsworth abode.
Polly does not feature heavily on the star’s Instagram account, as it is mostly for his work.
One of the only times she has appeared is in the wedding day photos, next to which he said: “The best day of my life.
“Thank you to all who attended and to those that helped to make it happen.”
Polly and Will are seen walking down the aisle as they are showered with confetti, both smiling widely.
Fans flocked to the comments to congratulate the happy couple on their special day.
Polly is also on Instagram, but her account is set to private as she prefers to stay out of the limelight.
Earlier this year, Will opened up about how he lied to Polly in order to get a new TV for their home.
Just a month after they tied the knot, he told Radio Times: “My wife Polly said we didn’t need a bigger TV.
“But our last one was really old, so I lied, saying I’d got one in the sales – I might have lied about the price as well!
“So, we’ve got a lovely big TV now and underneath that is my PlayStation, which I’ve been told to give to charity.
“I never have time to play, but I won’t get rid of it!”
Will is now set to join auctioneer Christina Trevanion for a new BBC series called The Travelling Auctioneers.
The show will see the pair travel across the country to turn unwanted items into profitable lots at auction.
The Repair Shop airs on Wednesdays on BBC One.
