EasyJet's website details all passengers need to know about what can and can't be taken on board a flight.<\/p>\n
This includes the size of luggage and a guideline of prices – including any additional costs.<\/p>\n
When travelling on an easyJet flight, all passengers can take one small cabin bag per person on board – and it's free to do so.<\/p>\n
It can be a maximum size of 45 x 36 x 20 cm – including any handles and wheels – and must be kept under the seat in front of you.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Bags larger than this will be placed in the hold and incur an airport bag fee.<\/p>\n Your bag can weigh up to 15kg, but EasyJet do ask that you\u2019re able to lift and carry the luggage yourself.<\/p>\n As well as a small cabin bag, passengers also have the option to bring a large cabin bag on board.<\/p>\n Customers who have paid to add a large cabin bag to their booking or are an easyJet Plus Member can bring a larger cabin bag on the flight.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The cost to bring a large cabin bag on board starts from \u00a35.99 online.<\/p>\n It can be a maximum size of 56 x 45 x 25 cm, including any handles and wheels –\u00a0 and it comes with a perk.<\/p>\n Every customer who books a larger bag can also enjoy the benefit of Speedy Boarding.<\/p>\n It is important to note that the maximum number of cabin bags available per person is two – this includes one small cabin bag for every passenger and one large cabin bag, if it's included within the fare or where a passenger has paid to bring larger luggage on board.<\/p>\n EasyJet passengers must pay to check a suitcase into the hold.<\/p>\n The options range from 15kg to 32kg, with each passenger allowed to check up to three bags.<\/p>\n It's also worth noting that if you're jetting off with family and friends who are on the same flight and booking – you can pool your total weight allowance together.<\/p>\n The charges to check luggage up to 15kg start from \u00a36.99.<\/p>\n If you're looking to take luggage of up t0 23kg, prices start from \u00a39.49 and can cost as much as \u00a340 at the bag drop desk.<\/p>\n To check in a 32kg suitcase, passengers are charged \u00a315 per 3kg on top of the 23kg bag when checking in online.<\/p>\n And if you're planning on packing sports equipment, you\u00a0 will have to pay between \u00a337 and\u00a0\u00a355 per item.<\/p>\n Musical instruments can also be taken into the cabin and put into the overhead locker if they are smaller than 30cm x 120cm x 38cm, but must be checked in if they are larger than this.<\/p>\n If you are unsure about your suitcase, the good news is easyJet has an augmented reality app\u00a0which lets passengers check their bags for size, avoiding extra charges at the airport.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/beautiful-view-cairo-nile-egypt-633217373.jpg\")
