<\/p>\nChocolate fans are gutted that Quality Street has binned a popular service ahead of the Christmas period \u2013 and some shoppers even claim they've been "stitched up" ahead of the festive season.<\/p>\n
Nestle is ridding the product's web shop this year, which means people will be unable to snap up the tubs online ahead of the most wonderful time of the year. It's left people sad they won't be able to order personalised tins of the choccies online.<\/p>\n
The news was announced after it was confirmed that John Lewis would be bringing back its personalisation stations this year. When you visit the store you'll be able to make your own pick 'n' mix tins full of your favourite flavours.<\/p>\n

The service, which was first made available in 2018, enables shoppers to make their own carefully selected tins jam-packed with their favourite goodies for \u00a315. You can even add a name on the tin for \u00a32 extra to give someone a super thoughtful present.<\/p>\n
But the fact that you can no longer order them online has put in a spanner in the works for some people. Many rely on the service instead of heading out to the shops during the run up to Christmas.<\/p>\n
One Facebook user said: "Quality Street, can't you order personalised tins online anymore?? I've done this for the last few years." Quality Street replied: "I'm sorry to say that our Quality Street webshop will not be open this year."<\/p>\n

When the decision was announced, many people were quick to have their say on the matter. One person commented: "They've stitched online customers up. I've purchased a couple of personalised tins for the past two years. Now all they can say is SORRY!!"<\/p>\n
Another added: "Quality Street noooooo. Why??" Meanwhile, a third chirped in: "That's disappointing. I just thought it would be an excellent Christmas present this year. I have ordered a personal tin in the past."<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Nestle told The Sun: "There\u2019s no Quality Street web shop this year, but Quality Street fans can still purchase personalised tins from pick and mix stations at participating John Lewis stores from September 27."<\/p>\n
If you do want to get your hands on a personalised tin this year, then you'll have to visit one of the 19 John Lewis stores that host the pick 'n' mix stations. It's thought the Oxford Street store will welcome its chocolate stand back on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
