Paramount+ is expanding its global Korean content slate with three new series produced through its partnership with Korea’s CJ ENM.<\/p>\n

The three titles – Dongjae, The Good Or The Bastard<\/em>, Dreaming Of Cinde Fxxxing Rella<\/em> and Pyramid Game <\/em>– will launch exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, UK, Australia, Latin America, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. They will also be licensed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of Korea, Japan and Taiwan.<\/p>\n

Produced by Studio Dragon and Ace Factory, Dongjae, The Good Or The Bastard<\/em> is a spin-off of thriller series Stranger<\/em>, revolving around one of the series’ characters, a lawyer called Seo Dongjae. In the spin-off series, he takes on the murder case of a high school girl and is conflicted between his intuition as a prosecutor and his instinct as an opportunist. <\/p>\n

Starring Lee Jun Hyuk, the series is created by Lee Su-yeon, directed by Park Gun Ho and written by Hwang Hajung and Kim Sangwon.<\/p>\n

Dreaming Of Cinde Fxxxing Rella<\/em> is a hybrid romantic comedy created by Baek Mi-kyoung (Strong Girl Bong-soon<\/em>, The Lady In Dignity<\/em>) about a woman meeting her “Prince Charming” who doesn’t believe in love. <\/p>\n

Starring Pyo Ye-jin and Lee Jun-young, the series is directed by Kim Min-kyeong, written by Yu-ja, and produced by CJ ENM, Story Phoenix and KeyEast.<\/p>\n

Pyramid Game<\/em>, created by JQ Lee, directed by Bak So Yeon and written by Choi Sui, is the story of a school girl who has to escape being bullied and become a “sniper” to end a violent high school game. <\/p>\n

Thes series is produced by Film Monster and CJ ENM Studios. Kim Jiyeon heads the cast, which also includes Jang Da A, Ryu Da In, Kang Na Eon, Jeong Ha Dam, Shin Seul Ki and Yulli.A<\/p>\n

This latest batch of series completes the seven titles that Paramount+ and CJ ENM’s streaming service TVing have committed to making together following Yonder<\/em>, Bargain<\/em>, A Bloody Lucky Day <\/em>and Queen Woo<\/em>. The three titles were announced at the APOS conference currently taking place in Bali, Indonesia. <\/p>\n

Catherine Park, Paramount’s Senior Vice President, Head of Streaming & Regional Lead, Asia, said: “On the heels of Bargain<\/em>’s recent success in attracting a great interest from various international markets, we’re excited to announce that more Korean content will travel globally through Paramount+. We take great pride in witnessing the fruitful results of our partnership with TVing and CJ ENM, and we will continue to work closely with them to ensure utmost success for all our co-produced Korean originals.”<\/p>\n

Yang Si-kwon, Head of Content at TVing, said, “Yonder<\/em> and Bargain<\/em>, which were previously selected as partnership titles between the two companies, are showing tangible results on the global stage. It is meaningful that collaboration has now expanded to confirm these three series as well, which will help maximize partnership synergy.”<\/p>\n

Paramount+ entered Asia last year through a launch on TVing, part of a strategic global partnership between Paramount Global and CJ ENM, that includes content licensing and distribution. <\/p>\n
