<\/p>\nIT can be expensive getting enough food for Christmas – especially when boxes of the viral chocolates cost \u00a35 a pop. <\/p>\n
But one woman has shown how she got a huge feast of festive food and snacks for just \u00a315 from Sainsbury's. <\/p>\n

Lisa took to TikTok to share a video explaining how she'd managed to save herself loads on her Christmas haul. <\/p>\n
"This just shows that shopping at Sainsbury's all year is a benefit," she said. <\/p>\n
"I got all of this shopping today for \u00a315.<\/p>\n
"There was also a \u00a36 Barbie book with this and a box of wine gums that my mum took out of the bag."<\/p>\n
Lisa said that she'd collected \u00a350 in Nectar points. <\/p>\n And thanks to the current scheme in Sainsbury's, she was able to double that to have \u00a3100 in points. <\/p>\n "And obviously Sainsbury's price matching Aldi a lot of the minute, so it's not that expensive anymore," Lisa added. <\/p>\n The total of her shopping was \u00a3115 – meaning she only had to shell out \u00a315 on top of the points. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n In the caption of the video, Lisa added: "Shopping at Sainsbury\u2019s weekly doesn't cost me more than using other supermarkets as they are price matching Aldi on so much and we buy a lot of Sainsburys own brand. <\/p>\n "And it gives me Nectar points, which just allowed me to get all this free."<\/p>\n Given that Lisa has a daughter with her other half, it's safe to estimate that their Christmas haul would be for around a family of five size. <\/p>\n And other people in the comments section revealed that they'd enjoyed similar savings thanks to the new Nectar double up scheme. <\/p>\n "I got \u00a373 worth of shopping and only paid \u00a313 thanks to this today!" one wrote. <\/p>\n "Ahh that's amazing," Lisa replied. <\/p>\n "Wait a damn min\u2026 i have about \u00a350 on mine too," another said. <\/p>\n "Ohhhh look on the Nectar app see if it offers the double up," Lisa said. <\/p>\n But a third questioned: "Why this not showing for us all?<\/p>\n "I think it\u2019s really unfair that some get others don\u2019t @Sainsbury\u2019s!"<\/p>\n "The double up is not on all nectar accounts," someone else wrote. <\/p>\n To double up, you need to have a minimum of 2,000 points, Lisa said. <\/p>\n You can then go to the app and see if you are able to convert the points to vouchers between 15 and 24th November. <\/p>\n The vouchers can then be used up until 15th December. <\/p>\n There's also another scheme running – as someone else commented: "I got the countdown to Christmas, for every 300 points I earn, they boost it by 1000."<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/newspress-collage-24783570-1700353823505.jpg\")
