Im A Celebrity 2023 camp packed full of new features ahead of series return

Ant and Dec share I’m A Celeb behind-the-scenes clip

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will be hitting ITV on Sunday, November 19 with a fresh batch of stars trading their lives of glamour in for jungle camping and rations.

While the official line-up for the 2023 series is yet to be announced by ITV bosses, a range of famous names are rumoured to be heading Down Under for the Australian-based show.

The names include Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid, JLS singer Marvin Humes, GB News’ Nigel Farage and former Prime Minister Liz Truss to highlight a few.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will once again be presenting the series and they have been featured in the main teaser trailer for the show as well as behind-the-scenes clips on social media.

Ahead of the popular series coming back to screens, details of the jungle’s 2023 makeover have been revealed.

The camp reportedly includes a dramatic Aztec-style temple with a giant spider monument and circular altar, according to The Sun.

Could this be where offerings are made to leaders of this year’s camp? Perhaps it will be part of challenges the stars have to take part in.

Aerial pictures, obtained by the publication, show a large pool which has been dug into the ground. It includes six underwater cages, which presumably will be used for the famous Bushtucker Trials.

A red-roofed treehouse has reportedly been put up in the jungle canopy – will lucky campmates get to sleep in the comfort of its walls instead of the muddy floor?

Some other major names tipped to be entering the jungle are Britney Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn and Paul Gascoigne’s daughter Bianca.

This Morning host Josie Gibson and former EastEnders star Danielle Harold could also be taking part in the reality series.

Last year’s winner was Lioness Jill Scott who was crowned Queen of the Jungle over Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and former Health Secretary Matt Hancock.

Since starring on the show, the MP has also appeared on the series SAS: Who Dares Wins.

As well as the regular series, fans were treated to an all-stars version of the ITV programme called I’m A Celebrity… South Africa. Presenter Myleen Klass was crowned the show’s first ‘legend’ after winning the final trial.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV on November 19 at 9pm.
