It is the latest in a string of sex attacks that has seen the seaside town likened to the ‘Wild West’.
A woman in her 20s was allegedly raped in Boscombe’s Sovereign Centre car park on August 31.
Another woman was attacked on Horseshoe Common in Bournemouth on August 11 and a woman claimed she was raped in a public toilet on the East Cliff on July 7.
Police are also investigating a number of allegations of people being sexually assaulted on Bournemouth beach in broad daylight.
Two teenage girls reported being touched by a man in and out of the sea next to the pier on August 19 while two other girls aged ten and 11 were sexually assaulted in the sea on June 25.
A week before that a 17-year-old boy reported being touched inappropriately while in the water with friends close to the pier.
Police said the suspect is known to the woman and no arrests have been made at this time
Some locals have blamed a ‘lack of police presence’ for the increase in crime in the resort.
