Spoilers: Adam and Imran finally catch killer Gary in Corrie?

Gary Windass (Mikey North) has tried to rebuild his life since the death of Rick Neelan in Coronation Street – but the arrival of his daughter Kelly into Weatherfield has certainly complicated matters as he has discovered that her life has gone to ruins since her dad disappeared.

As Gary investigates with a PI to try and find Kelly’s mum, Adam Barlow (Adam Robertson) grills Kelly and finds out that the only person in touch with Rick is Gary. Adam shares this information with Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) who is intrigued by this development.

With Adam and Imran both keen to bring Gary to justice, they know he is hiding something about Rick – and Kelly could be their key to unlocking the truth.

Gary tracks down Laura to the address he has found and promises Rick will keep paying if she takes Kelly back. However, he is later shocked to find that they are moving close to the Street, meaning that his problems are going nowhere.

With Gary having to fund Laura and Kelly but also contend with them being on his doorstep, he is a nervous wreck and his enemies are not giving up as Adam starts to flirt with Laura, upon discovering who she is.

And later, Adam deliberately takes off his wedding ring as he approaches Laura again in the café with the offer of buying her a coffee.

Laura laps up the attention as Adam pries for information – but how will Sarah (Tina O’Brien) feel about his methods?

And how will Gary react when he sees what Adam’s game is?

The massive property sits on 17 acres of land with substantial frontage to the Chattahoochee River.

Steve’s new crib has seven large bedrooms that feature views of the surrounding greenery and nine and a half bathrooms.

The master suite includes a large walk-in hardwood closet with a built-in vanity.

Arched cemented hallways and high ceilings add to the house’s regal vibe.

A large fully-equipped gym boasts a set of workout machines and weights.

The comedian and his wife Marjorie can host movie night at their in-home movie theatre that comfortably seats more than a dozen people.

Two large islands can be found in the wooded kitchen that boasts two chandeliers and state-of-the-art appliances.

Duggar Family Critics Think Josh Duggar's Wife, Anna, Lived in 'Horrible' Conditions During Her First Pregnancy

Those who follow the Duggars are very aware of Josh Duggar. The disgraced oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar is no longer associated with Counting On after he admitted to molesting some of his younger sisters in the early 2000s. And many judge his wife, Anna, for sticking by his side. Despite the rocky points in their marriage, Anna and Josh have remained together — and they even have six children.

Josh and Anna’s oldest child, Mackynzie, was born back in 2009. And their sixth child was born in late 2019. We can’t forget that Josh and Anna decided to have Mackynzie’s gender revealed on the Today show, too — and some Duggar family critics now suspect Anna was living in horrible conditions while she was traveling at the time.

Josh and Anna Duggar have 6 children together

The Duggars adore children, so it’s no surprise that Josh and Anna Duggar also have six kids. Anna just gave birth to Maryella back in November 2019 right around the start of the holiday season. And she appears to be a pro at motherhood, as just five days after giving birth, she was already attending Duggar family festivities.

We’re not sure if Josh and Anna are finished having children just yet, either. So, are they planning on having as many kids as Jim Bob and Michelle? According to Anna, that’s not likely to happen.

“So far our kids pretty much have a 2+ year gap between each one, at this rate number 20 would arrive when I’m 60,” Anna told an Instagram follower who asked. “So no I don’t think I will have 20. I’m thankful for the six children God has given us, and I’m just treasuring each day and leaving the future in HIS hands!”

They had the gender reveal of their first child on live television

Josh and Anna aren’t on TV anymore, but when Anna was pregnant with Mackynzie, they decided to have their gender reveal on TV. According to Today, the couple went on the air to cut a cake that revealed the baby’s gender — and they discovered they’d be having a little girl. Josh and Anna also discussed the possibility of having all of their kids’ names start with M, and so far, they’ve kept up with this.

“I think you can prepare only in so many ways, but really just realizing that you’re going to be a role model for that child, and be able to be prepared as you can be to be able to take on that,” Josh told the Today host at the time. “It’s an interesting experience, but I have great parents to look to.”

As for a big family, Josh also mentioned at the time that he’d be totally content with just “two or three” children — though we know now that the couple ended up having double that.

Duggar followers think Anna was living in bad conditions during her pregnancy

Traveling while pregnant isn’t easy, but some Duggar family critics suspect the conditions Anna had to deal with during the Today show trip were outrageous.

“October 8, 2009 – M1 born. During this time (2nd/3rd Trimester) they lived on the Duggar bus,” a Reddit user deduced. “-Dollywood & Dolly Parade -Bates House build where they had 50+ people using ONE bathroom -visit to Michelle’s family in Ohio (not shown on KAC) -DC including trip to Ethiopian restaurant. This infuriates me. Her first pregnancy she lived in horrible, crowded conditions, never able to have a moment for herself. Ugh. Poor Anna.”

Others also seemed appalled at what Anna went through here. “I’ve never been pregnant but I think the last think I’d want to do is constantly be traveling,” another noted.

“I could even imagine the smells and movements,” another wrote. “Thats not even probably half of it cause I tend to look at pregnancy with rose colored glasses. That sounds soo misrable.”

We may never know how Anna truly feels about her life with Josh a decade ago or now. But we’re interested to see how her life with her family progresses (and if she decides to have more children).

Tyler Perry Says He Spoke to 'George Floyd's Immediate Family': They Want 'Peaceful Protest'

Tyler Perry is urging protestors to demonstrate peacefully.

The mogul, 50, posted a message on Instagram on Monday amid ongoing protests after George Floyd’s death.

“I spent the past few days with an extremely heavy heart, having very high level conversations with people who don’t look like me, people who may not believe what I believe, people who don’t know what it’s like to be black in America but were willing to listen,” Perry wrote. “White people who are Republicans and Democrats, with different opinions, different views, and different ideas and strategies on how to stop this! White people with the power to have this go either way.”

Perry also said he had spoken to Floyd’s family in regards to protests that have been taking place across the country.

“I also spoke to George Floyd’s immediate family and tried to speak comfort in this moment,” Perry wrote. “I have to tell you — they are adamant in their call for peaceful protest.”

The Madea’s Family Reunion creator said he, along with several other well-known A-listers, had been reaching out to “effect change,” adding it takes “ALL OF US BLACK PEOPLE TO DO OUR PART!!”

“Think about this please. We’re only 12 to 14 percent of the US population,” he said. “With a number like that, we need allies that don’t look like us. Allies who are not in the 12 to 14 percent but want to be in the number that help us.”

“And you gotta know that I wasn’t the only one doing this. There are a lot of high profile black people, Oprah, Jay-Z, Diddy, athletes, politicians, business leaders, preachers, community leaders, and on and on who are doing the same thing I was doing to help us all,” he continued. “There were a lot of white people that are famous that I was talking to who wanted to know how they can help. One actually said 'teach us what we need to know.'"

Perry added, “Please remember this my loving black brothers and sisters, if we judge all white people and all police officers as the same, then that is the blanket judgment that we are accusing them of!!”

Benjamin Crump, the Floyd family's lawyer, told PEOPLE in a statement that George's family thinks "looting and violence are absolutely unacceptable

"On behalf of the family that we understand the righteous anger we see playing out on streets across the country," Crump said. "We support the activism and energy of the people who want to make sure we achieve change, and we hope those efforts continue."

He continued, "But looting and violence are absolutely unacceptable. They were unacceptable to George, and they must be unacceptable to us. The way to honor George is to achieve justice. As a country, we need to take a deep breath. George Floyd wasn't allowed that, but we must. We have a team of top legal minds who are not going to stop until there's justice for George Floyd and his family."

During a press conference on Monday, Crump revealed the results of an independent autopsy conducted on Floyd's body.

The independent autopsy found Floyd's cause of death was "asphyxia due to neck and back compression," with the manner of death called a homicide, the independent autopsy concluded.

Crump said during the press conference that "George Floyd’s family wants first-degree murder" for all the officers involved in his death.

The findings of the independent autopsy contradict the initial results from the Hennepin County medical examiner, which claimed it found no evidence of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation, according to the Washington Post.

The protests — some of which have turned violent — began last week in Minneapolis when footage of Floyd and his death after a police officer kneeled on his neck during an arrest surfaced online. Derek Chauvin, the officer involved in the incident, has been fired from his post and was charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter on Friday.

Since George's death, outrage has carried on in the form of protests throughout U.S. cities like Minneapolis, New York, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles, where acts of violence occurred over the weekend by both the demonstrators and the police.

In New York, an NYPD vehicle drove through a mass gathering of protestors after they threw debris at the vehicle, while in cities like Minneapolis and Los Angeles, tear gas was reportedly used on demonstrators.

Some protestors also looted from stores throughout the weekend and even burnt down buildings and police cars. Hundreds of arrests have been made in nearly all the major U.S. cities were protests and riots took place and curfews have since been implemented as a means to stop the encounters between demonstrators and police.

The truth about The Last Alaskans girls’ rare condition

For reality TV stars, life in the public eye often invites undue judgement. Yet while shows like Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills thrive on drama, the daughters from The Last Alaskans have found themselves the targets of unwarranted hate speech because of their looks.

Upon first glance, it’s clear sisters Molly, Emma, and Sarah — children of Ray and Cindy Lewis — look a bit different with regard to their eyes. Per Starcasm, some viewers cruelly speculated that their appearance comes from being inbred, but in reality, the daughters suffer from a rare genetic condition: Blepharophimosis, ptosis, and epicanthus inversus syndrome (BPES).

According to the National Organization for Rare Disorders, BPES presents four distinct facial features at birth — narrow eyes, droopy eyelids, an upward fold of skin of the inner lower eyelids, and widely set eyes — which can cause difficulty when opening the eyes fully and impact an affected individual’s quality of vision. NORD adds that, while BPES type I involves premature ovarian insufficiency in females along with the characteristic facial features, BPES type II manifests as these facial features alone.

While Starcasm notes the family doesn’t know which BPES type they carry, they know the rare condition came from the recessive gene carried by mother Cindy. However, it’s doubly rare that all three daughters acquired this mutation, as the likelihood of passing the altered gene from parent to child reportedly remains low at 50%. Even so, this condition hasn’t hindered the sisters one bit.

Molly Lewis wants the haters to 'get a life'

While Molly Lewis and her sisters remain susceptible to harsh criticism, the eldest child had some choice words for the show’s armchair critics.

“Thank you to all of you who have posted positive comments in our defense!” Molly wrote during an online Q&A five years ago (per Starcasm). “They’re encouraging and it’s nice to know there’s people out there who get out of the show what’s supposed to be. But to the rest of you on the other side of the discussion—come on, get a life! Honestly I feel sorry for you. Can’t you enjoy the show for what it is? It’s a shame that all you seem to be taking away from it is the subject of our eyes. If it had anything to do with the topic of the show it would be addressed.”

A post shared by The Last Alaskans (@thelastalaskans) on Mar 3, 2016 at 12:05pm PST

She continued by noting, “Everyone has their flaws, ours are just more obvious than others.” Molly added, “I’m sorry if it looks weird to some of you, but that’s your problem. Most of you all have ‘normal’ eyes so why does it matter to you so much? Don’t you have anything better to do with your lives than worry about others’?”

Choosing to take the high road, Molly concluded, “It’s the way God chose to make us and we accept it. If you aren’t satisfied with that response then that’s your issue. I don’t know what else to say.” Well-put!

NCIS on Netflix: When will NCIS season 16 and 17 be on Netflix?

We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights.

NCIS had to come to an unexpected early finish as the CBS drama wasn’t able to finish filming before the world went into lockdown. This meant season 17 was shorter than normal with episode Arizona as its new finale. The last instalment starred Back To The Future actor Christopher Lloyd as a Pearl Harbor survivor and ended the series on an emotional note.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from NCIS.

Season 16 will most likely be remembered as the series where Agent Ziva David (played by Cote de Pablo) returned from the dead, having spent years in hiding.

She featured in the last two episodes to warn Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) of a new threat heading its way to him.

Actress de Pablo then came back for a couple more episodes at the beginning of season 17 to fans’ delight.

The main question was if ex-agent Tony Dinozzo (Michael Weatherly) and daughter Tali would want her in their lives again.

After sending an adorable video of Tali asking for her mum to come back, Ziva decided she would head off to Paris to be with the rest of her family.

The team later got a thank you letter from Dinozzo Snr (Robert Wagner) who started spending some time in Paris himself.

Chief medical examiner Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) told the rest of the NCIS team: “Senior’s still in Paris with the fam.

“Apparently, by reuniting Ziva with Tony and Tali, NCIS has made him the ‘happiest pop-pop’ ever.”

NCIS season 18 was confirmed earlier this month which will see the return of the cast, including actor Mark Harmon leading the way.

When will NCIS season 16 and 17 be on Netflix?

At the moment, the first 15 seasons of NCIS are available to watch on Netflix US.

This is the season where actress Pauley Perrette who played Abby Sciuto left the show for good and actress Maria Bello joined the cast as Special Agent Jacqueline “Jack” Sloane.

NCIS season 16 first came onto our screens two years ago and series 17 in 2019.

But so far, neither of these latest series are on Netflix and there is a possibility they might never be added to the streaming service.

NCIS season 17, episode 21 release date: When does NCIS return? [RELEASE DATE]

CBS All Access launched back in 2014 and while it does still stream episodes after they air on the network, it also features new and exclusive content.

In February last year, CBS series Hawaii FIve-0 left Netflix and so did Blue Bloods in November.

Both of these shows are now only available to stream on CBS All Access.

So far, there is no news about either season 16 or 17 being dropped on Netflix.

As it has now been two years since the release of series 16, there is concern the latest episodes won’t ever feature on streaming giant, as it could be potentially leaving for CBS All

Access like the other network shows.

Express.co.uk will update this article when there is more information on the future of NCIS seasons 16 and 17 coming to Netflix.

If NCIS does leave Netflix for CBS All Access, then fans may want to subscribe to the service if they wish to still watch the crime drama.

CBS All Access costs $5.99 per month with ads and $9.99 per month without ads, depending on which option you choose.

CBS All Access is an American streaming service and cannot be purchased by those living in the UK.

NCIS season 17 is available to watch on CBS.

  • The best movies on Netflix

What are Netflix's 13 Reasons Why's most controversial moments?

WARNING: Contains spoilers from seasons 1 to 3 of 13 Reasons Why

Hannah's suicide

In season 1 the show leads up to lead character Hannah killing herself.

The show received a HUGE backlash for airing a three minute scene which saw in graphic detail the troubled teen slit her wrists before dying in a bath.

After an outcry from viewers, the horrific scene has now been altered and doesn't show her cutting her wrists.

However it was available to watch for TWO years before it was removed.

Tyler's rape

After Hannah's suicide, the next most cotroversial moment has to be when Tyler was horrifically raped.

This happened towards the end of season 2.

Fans begged Netflix to alter the scene which sees Tyler subjected to a brutal rape.

Inthe scene, Monty and his crew confront Tyler in the bathroom and carry out a violent assault on him with a mop handle.

Speaking about it to RadioTimes, actor Timothy Granaderos who plays Monty said: "I didn’t expect it, but I got kind of nauseous, and my stomach was churning after watching it.

"To be honest, I would expect that reaction from people."

Bryce raping three girls

Serial rapist Bryce was the most controversial character thanks to his campaign of terror on women.

Bryce's victims were Hannah Baker, Jessica Davis and Chloe Winter.

We saw him first rape Jessica at a party after she had too much to drink.

Then towards the end of season 1, he raped Hannah in a hot tub at his home.

But it wasn't until season 3, that we find out he also raped his then-girlfriend Chloe.

Although Bryce ends up dead, he is never punished for his crimes against women.

Attempted school shooting

Tyler's horrific rape was the catalyst for his attempted shoot out at Liberty High.

Armed with rifles and handguns, Tyler was about to storm the school gym, before being talked down by Clay.

Many found the scene traumatic as it reflected on the many school shootings that havehappened in the US.

'The X-Files': David Duchovny Asked to Wear That Famous Red Speedo in Season 2

The X-Files, which originally aired on FOX, starred David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as FBI agents on paranormal cases. The science-fiction TV show was popular for it’s running storyline about UFOs and conspiracies. However, one of the biggest draws to the show was Anderson and Duchovny’s impeccable chemistry, playing Agents Scully and Mulder.

It didn’t hurt that the two actors were (and are) ridiculously good-looking — which is why one episode from The X-Files Season 2, stands out in the memories of many fans. In “Duane Barry,” Duchovny wore a red swimsuit that became iconic. He later revealed he actually requested to wear it.

The red Speedo in ‘The X-Files’ Season 2 that changed the world

RELATED: ‘The X-Files’: Why the Hit TV Show Was Predicted to Flop in Season 1

For fans of The X-Files, “Duane Barry” is a well-liked and well-known episode, especially when it comes to the show’s myth arc.

While the season 2 episode dives into the series’ long-running mythology about extraterrestrial life and alien abduction, it also stands out for one important reason: David Duchovny rocks a bright-red Speedo.

In “Duane Barry,” Agent Krycek arrives at the FBI pool to find Agent Mulder, so he can assist on a case. Mulder, who is in the middle of swimming laps, emerges from the pool in a tiny red swimsuit.

As the host of the podcast The X-Files Files, Kumail Nanjiani, pointed out, at the time the episode aired, fans of the show were into the swimsuit. Online message boards lit up with discussion surrounding Mulder’s Speedo (and let’s be honest, that bod). In fact, a whole thread was devoted to Duchovny’s good looks — a group that named themselves the David Duchovny Estrogen Brigade, or DDEB. (Don’t worry; there was a testosterone-themed version for Gillian Anderson, too).

And as IndieWire reported, “Shots from the episode have since made their rounds the internet and adorned many a computer background.”

And it makes sense that fans were so thrilled — not just about Duchovny’s Hollywood good looks, but over the fact that most of the time in The X-Files, Scully and Mulder are shrouded in very 90s, oversized, shoulder-padded suits.

The swimsuit belonged to ‘X-Files’ cast member David Duchovny

Duchovny admitted in 2013 that the swimsuit was his very own. In fact, it was the actor’s idea to wear the Speedo on The X-Files.

“Chris Carter wanted me to wear board shorts ’cause he’s a California guy,” the X-Files star said at PaleyFest. “I said, ‘nobody swims laps in board shorts.’” Duchovny revealed that he asked the showrunner to let him wear his own Speedo.

“And I have regretted it ever since!” Duchovny joked.

The actors who played Agents Scully and Mulder thought the show would ‘bomb’

As IndieWire also reported, the stars of The X-Files originally thought the show was going to “bomb.”

“I thought it would tank,” Anderson revealed at PaleyFest one year.

Entertainment Weekly also famously called The X-Files a “goner” in season 1.

It took until season three for Anderson and Duchovny to realize that their show might survive,” IndieWire wrote. Duchovny recalled just being actors, excited at getting a network gig.

“We needed to live,” he explained. “We just wanted a job.”

Shirley Ballas '99% sure' Strictly 2020 will go ahead despite Covid-19 crisis

Shirley Ballas has given Strictly Come Dancing fans some positive news and is ‘99% sure’ the show will be going ahead – despite coronavirus throwing a massive spanner in the works.

The much-loved BBC programme has seemingly been under threat as bosses have had to come up with ideas to keep the show going within social distancing rules.

But with contestants and their pro partners having to work in close proximity, and a live studio audience present every week, it is somewhat of a logistical nightmare.

But Shirley, who leads the judges table completed by Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel-Horwood and Bruno Tonioli, reckons bosses may have cracked it and is determined to keep the show going.

‘Of course everything changes day-to-day but I have spoken to Strictly’s executive producer, and I am 99% sure that we will be on screens in one form or another,’ she told Hello Magazine.

‘We all realise that when the colder months come, we need some glitz and glamour – it’s like going to Hollywood or Vegas and it’s something that the whole family can enjoy.’

She added: ‘It’s imperative that that show goes ahead so you can bet your trolley they are doing their best to get it on.’

And when the show does come back, Shirley has teased the team has plans to pay their respects to the NHS heroes getting us through the crisis.

‘I know we are going to have some fantastic NHS stories, there is going to be a reflection on the coronavirus and what people have done for communities and I think it’s going to be a real tearjerker,’ the award-winning dance pro added.

It’s still not certain how the team will navigate social distancing rules, with rumours stars could be placed in lockdown in the same hotel.

A new idea also suggests stars could be wearing Masked Singer-style masks in order to keep them safe during their routines, or have the stars perform outdoors and away from the ballroom.

Read the full interview in Hello Magazine, out today.

Strictly Come Dancing is scheduled to return in the autumn and is available on BBC iPlayer.

Piers Morgan insists systemic racism 'has got to change'

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid addressed the protests in the United States following the death of George Floyd on today’s Good Morning Britain, with Piers insisting systemic racism ‘has got to change’.

George was killed after being arrested – with footage showing police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on his neck as he cried out: ‘I can’t breathe!’

The four officers involved were fired, and Chauvin was arrested Friday on suspicion of third-degree murder, meaning he has been accused of killing George without prior intent, but with disregard for his life.

Presenters Piers and Susanna expressed their feelings about the growing unrest and tensions during the programme.

‘This is the systemic racism that has bedeviled America for so long,’ Piers began. ‘Something has to change, it can’t go on like this.

‘You cannot have a black American being killed in the street by a white policeman with his knee on his neck for nearly 10 minutes. It’s unbelievable.’

He later asked: ‘If we’re not black, how do we effect change? We cannot just say “isn’t this awful” watching this black man killed for nine minutes?

‘The rage you’re seeing in America is because this has been centuries of injustice burning inside people.’

Susanna went on to pay tribute to Breonna Taylor, a black woman who was killed during a police raid of her Kentucky apartment in March.

She also remembered Stephon Clark, a 23-year-old black American man, who was shot and killed in California in the backyard of his grandmother’s house while he had a phone in his hand.

Protests have been taking place in the US and around the world following George’s death.

On Sunday in London, Black Lives Matter protesters headed to Trafalgar Square and Downing Street before thousands made their way to the US Embassy in Battersea.

The crowd could be heard chanting ‘say his name: George Floyd ‘I can’t breathe’ as they walked by the River Thames.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
