Tiger King’s Carole Baskin Has Been Awarded Control of Joe Exotic’s Zoo

Carole Baskin has been awarded control over the zoo that was operated by Joseph Maldonado-Passage, who is known as Joe Exotic.

The Oklahoma zoo, G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park, has been under the control of Jeff Lowe, but now Baskin has been granted control by a judge, according to Fox 25.

It was reported that the zoo was fraudulently transferred to Joe Exotic‘s mother years ago to keep it out of reach from creditors, including Baskin‘s Big Cat Rescue.

Lowe now has 120 days to vacate the premises and remove all of his animals from the property.

The Netflix documentary series Tiger King explored the rivalry between Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic and how he went to jail for allegedly plotting to kill her. He was sentenced to 22 years in prison back in 2019 after being convicted for paying a hitman $3,000 to kill Baskin.

As he pushes for the arrest of all four police officers involved, the ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ actor reminds that the Black Lives Matter protests are not about rioting and looting.

AceShowbizKevin Hart is pushing for the arrest of all four police officers who were involved in the death of George Floyd.

The actor shared several urgent tweets on Sunday, May 31, in which he condemned the actions of the Minneapolis, Minnesota cops, who were fired after the tragedy last week, May 25, and demanded justice, insisting their dismissal from the force is not enough.

“You can’t ask for peace if your not willing to give JUSTICE….people want JUSTICE (sic),” Hart wrote. “It’s that simple….Throw all of those cops in jail NOOOOOWWW. That’s taking action… Point blank!!!! This is what we want to see… JUSTICE.”

Kevin Hart demanded justice for the death of George Floyd.

Snoop Dogg 'rakes in £5.3 million for starring in iconic Just Eat advert'

Snoop Dogg raked in an impressive £5.3 million after starring in the iconic Just Eat adverts.

The rapper won our hearts as he rapped about food for the delivery service and it’s no shock to hear he apparently raked it in.

The advert has Snoop Dogg complaining about how he’s tired of the song, before taking over and making it better.

A music source told The Sun: ‘Snoop has banked over £5million since he landed the deal.

‘It’s easy money and the adverts have proved a hit with audiences. Snoop is a legendary character so the negotiation took time and plenty of cash.’

https://youtube.com/watch?v=AKseaFPEKGk%3Fversion%3D3%26rel%3D1%26fs%3D1%26autohide%3D2%26showsearch%3D0%26showinfo%3D1%26iv_load_policy%3D1%26wmode%3Dtransparent

Filmed in his own compound in Los Angeles, Snoop has upped the stakes of the service and we don’t think they can top this one.

The source added that it’s been Just Eat’s ‘most successful advert’, and it should be considering they got D O double G making everything better.

Snoop has appeared in many adverts over the years, including for Burger King and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Now we just need to see him in a GoCompare ad.

‘Snoop’s remix allows us to connect with a younger consumer demographic, while also providing a bit of fun for our existing customers and fans of the original track,’ said Susan O’Brien, global chief marketing officer at Just Eat.

‘We love that he’s taken something synonymous with the Just Eat brand and made it personal to him,’ she continued.

Celebrity Couples Who’ve Split Amid the Coronavirus Quarantine

Not all celebrity couples were able to outlast the coronavirus quarantine and remain an item. Stars such as Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph and Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich have gone their separate ways amid the health crisis.

The Bachelor’s Underwood and Randolph called it quits in May 2020 after making it through the former football player testing positive for COVID-19 in March and quarantining with Randolph’s family as he recovered.

“It’s been a crazy few months to say the least, Cass and I have been doing a lot of self-reflecting,” the former Bachelor wrote via Instagram on May 29. “Sometimes people are just meant to be friends – and that’s okay. We both have grown immensely and been through so much together – so this isn’t the end of our story, it’s the start of a whole new chapter for us.”

The Orange County native commented on Underwood’s announcement with two red heart emojis and then shared her own tribute to their relationship.

“I love Colton very much and have an enormous amount of respect for him,” she wrote. “We have both learned and grown so much these past couple years, and will always have each others back. Always.”

Hough and Laich announced their split on May 29 after two years of marriage, while quarantining in two different states.

“We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate,” the pair said in a joint statement. “We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward.”

Ahead of their breakup, Us Weekly exclusively reported on April 17 that the Dancing With the Stars judge and former hockey player were “not doing well.” Although they started quarantine together in March, by April, Laich was in Idaho, while Hough was in L.A.

Flipping Out alum Jeff Lewis announced his split from boyfriend Scott Anderson on May 4, during his SiriusXM show, Jeff Lewis Live, noting the pressures that were brought on during the pandemic.

“The last eight weeks has been kind of rough,” he explained the time. “He’s had a lot of anxiety, a lot of frustration, and it got to a point where I felt that he was hypercritical of me. It was a lot of negativity and always complaining.”

Lewis continued: “We speak two different languages. And for me, I need more affirmation and acknowledgment and those kinds of things once in a while. The beating me up and the hypercriticism, it just became suffocating to me.”

Scroll down to see which couples called it quits amid the coronavirus quarantine, including Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler and Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart, beginning in March 2020.

Cardi B Reacts to Critic Who Said Her Daughter, Kulture, Doesn't Like Her

Cardi B quickly became a superstar with her over-the-top personality and catchy music, but one thing she doesn’t play about is her daughter, Kulture Cephus. Cardi B and her husband Offset welcomed their daughter into the world back in July 2018. Since then, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper has been open about how much she enjoys being a mother. Furthermore, she’s quick to slam anyone who says negative things about her parenting skills.

According to Cardi B’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, being a mother was something that the rapper always wanted to do. Thus, the “Finesse” singer doesn’t take kindly to anyone badmouthing how she chooses to be a mom. In fact, Cardi B made the decision to shield her daughter from the public eye for the first several months of her life in order to protect her. As Cardi B is incredibly famous, she is subjected to intense criticism and scrutiny on a daily basis. Naturally, the 27-year-old didn’t want that negativity to reach Kulture.

Cardi B shows off her daughter, Kulture, on Instagram live

Now, however, as Kulture approaches her 2nd birthday, Cardi B is a bit more open in terms of sharing her daughter with her fans. The Bronx native’s Instagram feed occasionally boasts pictures and videos of a happy and healthy Kulture. Recently, the rapper even gave fans a special treat and she went live and managed to show off Kulture’s hilarious personality. In the live, Cardi B repeatedly screams her daughter’s name to get her attention. But, instead of paying her mother any mind, Kuture ignores her and continues playing with her tablet and sucking on her pacifier.

Of course, the Internet went crazy over the video and Kulture even began trending on Twitter. “Kulture is so over Cardi and her antics,” one person tweeted using the crying laughing emojis. It wasn’t long before that particular tweet caught Cardi B’s eye and she took to her own Twitter to respond. “And guess who made me get out the shower, thirty minutes later after this live with soap on me just to tuck her in and cuddle her to sleep? Yes Miss Kulture,” the 27-year-old shared about her daughter.

Fans react to the video on Twitter

But, not all of the tweets were playful and positive. In fact, some people used the hilarious video as “proof” that Cardi B’s daughter didn’t care for her mother. “Kulture don’t like her momma and that’s the funniest part every video she be ignoring tf outta all that screaming,” one person declared. Again, the tweet caught the rapper’s eye and she chose to react to the statement.

Taking to her Twitter feed once more, the rapper retweeted the statement that her daughter didn’t like her. “Loud and wrong,” Cardi B clapped back in her caption. She also posted an additional video of Kulture giving her a kiss on the lips. Fans, of course, felt that the new video was sweet and they began demanding even more footage of the toddler. Others encouraged Cardi B to ignore the naysayers. We doubt that the latter will happen anytime soon, but we can understand why the rapper might feel compelled to defend herself when it comes to her daughter.

‘Insecure’ Star Kendrick Sampson Injured During LA Protests – His History Of Social Activism

Millions are outraged over the death of George Floyd, an African American man who was killed by a white police officer. Protests are taking place across the country calling for change and the arrests and convictions of all involved and celebrities are taking to the frontline and using their platform to help. One of the celebrities to participate in a recent protest is Insecure star, Kendrick Sampson.

Sampson is not new to social activism but this time, things took a scary turn. The actor updated fans on his social media pages to reveal that he was injured by police while protesting in LA over the weekend.

Kendrick Sampson says police beat and shot him with rubber bullets while protesting in LA

Sampson joined thousands as they took the streets of LA to demand change over America’s centuries-long history of racial injustice. He walked with others as they marched through areas of LA while holding “Black Lives Matter” signs while trying to avoid potential arrests or pushback from law enforcement. Unfortunately, Sampson was harmed during the protests.

“They shot me four times already,” he said in an Instagram Live video. “I already got hurt and I got hit with a baton.”

When Sampson got home, he realized the damage was much greater than he originally thought.

“Glad y’all witnessed this. [Especially] the video of them actually targeting us. He didn’t try to ricochet the bullets of the ground-one tactic-he pointed the gun DIRECTLY AT ME. I actually got hit 7 times with rubber bullets and many batons. My boy has stitches,” he wrote on Twitter.

Videos circulated on social media of Sampson being hit. In one video, Sampson is seen in front of a crowd of protesters having a screaming match with police officers and is repeatedly hit with a baton. CNN posted a video of Sampson’s interaction with police officers on their Instagram page. Sampson also shared photos of his injuries to his Instagram account.

Sampson spoke to Variety after the incident and explained that he was attacked despite the protest being peaceful.

“We did an event together — peaceful, powerful, talking about defunding the police, talking about building power in our communities and what that really looks like,” he said. “That’s what we were doing. We marched to the intersection at Fairfax, we were there for a bit. We closed it out with a chant.”

Kendrick Sampson has a history of social activism

Sampson has been using his platform to help with racial injustice for years. The son of biracial parents, the Houston-pred actor was an activist long before his move to Hollywood. His interest in civil rights began early and was sparked by the actions of his parents, who pushed their son to be socially conscious.

See y’all in DTLA at 4. Pull up. The team @bldpwr produced this in 2019. #BlackLivesMatter #BLDPWR #LetUsLive In reference to my last post – @bldpwr to educate around a super progressive police accountability bill. While we won and passed the bill, it was essentially gutted. It helps but not nearly to the extent it could have. • Why was it gutted, pressure from police unions. police unions should not be a part of organized labor. The reason your elected officials take no substantive action – Police unions lobbying power and intimidation power is immense and they use it to operate like organized crime. • The policing system is founded on slave catching and continues to act as such. It was founded to harm, not heal our communities. To protect to most able and abusive by targeting the people they were killing and abusing. We can come up with a better system. One founded in accountability, rehabilitation, restorative justice and care for the most vulnerable. They act as organized crime and continue the legacy of colonization and white supremacy in this country. It’s time to put an end to that legacy. Defund police, release those much needed funds and fund services we desperately need to relieve and heal (mental health care, housing, rehabilitation). # Most of these city budgets are most influenced by the Mayor and City council – Demand Mayor Frey of Minneapolis (612-968-4443 / 612-673-2100) and Mayor Garcetti of LA and city councils defund police. And prosecutors prosecute killer cops. And don’t take “no” for an answer, I don’t care what laws are preventing justice. If the laws are unjust, change them. Now. Or ignore tf out of them like they do when we want justice. We don’t have time to wait. Y’all had y’all’s time. Centuries. Now it’s ours. Justice. Liberation. Abolish the system and build better. We can. ✊🏽 #BLDPWR #GeorgeFloyd

He founded his organization BLD PWR along with two other activists in 2019. The program trains artists, athletes, and entertainers to use their voices “to create a groundswell of positive social change across all sectors of society.” He works with a variety of partners, including leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement, and professors from UCLA and Cal State LA to moderate the trainings.

Other issues that Sampson lends his name and voice to include immigrant rights, prison reform, and police brutality. He told Teen Vogue in 2019 that his focus lies on four issues.

“I’m just going to kind of break it down into four things: education, housing, health care, and jobs. Those all intersect,” he said. “When you’re looking at public safety — a term that should be redefined — you make huge investments in those four areas.”

Sampson is now committed to defunding police as a result of police brutality. He’s explained his reasoning in an exclusive Variety report.

Music Industry Calls For ‘Black Out Tuesday’

In a message of solidarity in response to the death of George Floyd, a number of music industry leaders have called for a “Black Out Tuesday” on June 2.

Record labels such as Atlantic Records, Capitol Music Group, Columbia Records, Def Jam, Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Warner Records, and Interscope Geffen A&M, among many others, have all pledged to cease business activity on Tuesday.

“Due to recent events please join us as we take an urgent step of action to provoke accountability and change,” says a statement widely circulated on social media under the hashtag #TheShowMustBePaused.

“As gatekeepers of the culture, it’s our responsibility to not only come together to celebrate the wins, but also hold each other up during a loss,” the statement continues. “Join us on Tuesday JUNE 2 as a day to disconnect from work and reconnect with our community.”

A number of the labels noted that “Black Out Tuesday” will not be a “day off” but rather a day to reflect and figure out ways to move forward in solidarity.

The move by the music industry comes following the May 25 death of Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers. Floyd’s death has sparked mass protests across the country.

Michael Jordan Speaks Out Following the Death of George Floyd: "We Have Had Enough"

Michael Jordan has spoken out on the death of George Floyd. On May 25, Floyd was killed in Minneapolis when police officer Derek Chauvin pinned his knee to Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes as he repeatedly said he couldn’t breathe. On May 31, amid protests across the country, Jordan released a statement on his official Instagram and Twitter accounts, expressing both his anger and support. “I am deeply saddened, truly pained and plain angry,” he wrote. “I see and feel everyone’s pain, outrage and frustration. I stand with those who are calling out the ingrained racism and violence toward people of color in our country. We have had enough.”

The former basketball player went on to encourage his followers to show empathy toward one another while also actively denouncing uncalled-for police violence. “I don’t have the answers, but our collective voices show strength and the inability to be divided by others. We must listen to each other, show compassion and empathy and never turn our backs on senseless brutality,” Jordan said. He urged fans to “continue peaceful expressions against injustice,” “demand accountability,” and “put pressure on our leaders to change our laws.” He concluded his statement by offering his condolences to Floyd’s family and the “countless others whose lives have been brutally and senselessly taken through acts of racism and injustice.”

A statement from Michael Jordan:

A post shared by Jordan (@jumpman23) on

In the past, Jordan received backlash from fans for rarely taking a stand on politics and Black advocacy during his basketball career. He touched on his tendency to remain neutral on racial issues in his recent docuseries The Last Dance. Back in 1990, Jordan chose not to publicly endorse Harvey Gantt, a Black Democrat who was running for senator in North Carolina against Jesse Helms, a white Republican with a racist reputation. Gantt wound up losing the race in Jordan’s home state. Reflecting on the matter 30 years later in The Last Dance, Jordan said, “I never thought of myself as an activist. I thought of myself as a basketball player. I wasn’t a politician. I was playing my sport. I was focused on my craft. Was that selfish? Probably. But that was my energy.”

Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan to Get Engaged? On Television?!?

Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan are not wasting any time, you guys.

The Bachelor and the suitor he kicked off his season of The Bachelor weeks before the finale are very much a romantic item these days.

And they’re happy to let everyone know it… in the most PDA-tastic way possible.

The couple only really went public with their relationship about a month ago, taunting all Bachelor Nation haters by singing a song together on Tik Tok.

“Nobody wants to see us together, but it don’t matter, no,” the pilot and the lawyer lipsynced in this polarizing video.

At the end of the new footage, they continued singing, “‘Cause I got you,” pointing to each other and making most viewers nauseous in the process.

Since this time, Peter and Kelley have only continued to remind all critics that they’re together … and happy … and everyone best learn how to deal with it.

Moreover, according to new reports and new musings from the stars themselves, everyone better soon learn to deal with just how serious this relationship has become.

In what way?

For starters, Peter is now on Cameo, which means you can pay $149 to have him say pretty much anything you want to a friend or family member.

During a recent video on this platform, the former ABC lead directed a message toward a real estate agent in the Chicago area… which, yes, is the city in which Flanagan resides.

In this footage, Weber admits that he has his eye on a specific property in the region and asks for more information from this realtor, who is representing the property.

Dude might as well have screamed “I’M MOVING TO CHICAGO TO BE CLOSE TO KELLEY!” online.

Moving cities to be near a significant other is a big deal, of courrse.

But Kelley has now gone ahead and made it sound as if an even bigger deal could be on the way for this couple: Marriage!

In response to new photos of Peter and Kelley wakeboarding (and kissing!), a fan wrote the following in Flanagan’s Comments section:

“I want an after after the final rose live with Chris Harrison cuz I feel like we’re still living your season lmao.”

Peter, of course, used his actual After the Final Rose ceremony to announce he had broken up with fiancee Hannah Ann Sluss and then asked out runner-up Madison Prewett…

… prior to breaking up with her 48 hours later as well.

Kelley, who was sent packing by Peter several weeks before this network special, was never given such a public stage on which to declare her love for Weber.

However, it “might be coming soon,” Kelley teased in response to the above user remark.

Just those few words have left Bachelor Nation buzzing.

Why would Kelley and Peter be given their own ABC episode unless they had an engagement announcement to make, you know?!?

This is just a guess on our part, of course.

But we do know that Flanagan has the blessing of Peter’s mother, and we also know that Peter and Kelley having been moving very fast these days.

They lived together for months during quarantine, too, which gave the pair a chance to really get to know each other and to sort of test out what it might be like if they were husband and wife.

Considering their social media feeds since?

They passed that test, it seems. Big time.

What’s interesting to note is that more Bachelor fans have come on board this romance since it became evident just how strongly Peter and Kelley felt about each other.

“@pilot_pete your chemistry with Kelley was obvious from the very beginning. Glad you all have found happiness,” wrote one fan late last week.

“@pilot_pete y’all are totally gonna break the internet with all this cuteness,” another person added.

So there you have it. Possibly, that is.

Would you bless a Peter and Kelley union at this point?
