A WOMAN has confessed to having a name so unusual it makes getting packages delivered a nightmare. 

She said there is even a streaming service named after her.


Britt Marie Box goes by Britt Box which is a traditional name in Sweden, but people still find it hard to believe. 

Britt said she is fully aware there is a streaming service named after her. 

She said in a TikTok video: “I’m fully aware it is my fault because I have an unusual name.”

“My first name is Brit, my second name is box brickbox and before you say yes I do know that there is a streaming service named after me, fully aware.”

However it was when Britt ordered a package from Lush that she realised just how strangely people reacted to her name.

She said: “This is the conversation I've just had at the front door while getting my lush parcel.”

Her parcel delivery man refused to accept that Britt’s name was real. 

He said: “Hello I have a parcel for Britt Box."

Britt replied: “Hello yes that's me, thank you.”

He asked: “Okay is that the address or?"

“It's for Brit Box, is that the address?”

Britt said: “Nope that's me.”

He said: “Okay [hands over parcel]. Can I take a name for the signature?”

Britt replied: “Yeah it's Brit Box.”

But he asked: “Yeah but what's your name?”

In the end Britt did manage to get her parcel but not without a lot of hassle.

Britt’s video racked up over 103,000 views online. 

One user suggested “Make business cards saying ‘Yes this is my name.’”

Another said: “I would change my name to Brittany to stop the hassle.” 

“What a cool name,” said a third viewer.
