I work with dogs – 6 breeds I wouldn't get, a herding type doesn't know when to chill & another has 'small man syndrome' | The Sun
A PROFESSIONAL life working with dogs has helped one woman work out which six breeds she would never get.
One of them had a strong herding instinct and didn't know how to chill.
But another had what she called "small man syndrome."
Not everyone might agree but Courtney (@courtneyjw_22) was keen to clarify that she was just "going off my own experience.”
This canine fan set out her big dislikes in the dog world in her post.
“Dog breeds I would not own as someone who works with dogs," she said.
First out of the kennel was the Bulldog: “They can’t breathe, and I rarely see many well-bred ones."
She hadn't finished yet: "[They have] crusty noses and smelly face folds."
Second on her list was the American Bully.
“[They] don’t tend to do well in a daycare environment," she explained.

"They can be very dominating towards other dogs. Every male one I’ve met has humped.”
Next was the Border collie, and she said it could not shake off its lineage.
“Strong herding instinct — in this case, other dogs in the pack. Don’t know when to chill. Constantly stalking or fixating," she wrote.
Fourth in line was the Rottweiler: ”Similar to the Bully. Always start out goofy and fun then turn funny once they start going into their adolescent stage.”
There was a particular problem with the French Bulldog as far as she was concerned: “Similar to the English Bulldog. They tend to have small man syndrome.”
Last on her list was the German Shepherd.
“Very vocal. Suffers separation anxiety. Tend to prefer one person so unless you’re the person, they won’t bother you.”
There were supporters of her dog list in the comments to their post: “Totally agree.”
