Angela Scanlon has revealed she was “furious” over alleged comments made towards her while presenting Robot Wars.
The TV favourite is currently setting the dance floor on fire in Strictly Come Dancing at the moment. Partnered up with Carlos Gu, the pair have marked themselves as strong contenders to bag this year's Glitterball trophy.
Prior to her stint on the glitzy show, Angela is best known for her TV presenting gigs on Your Home Made Perfect and T in the Park. A huge breakthrough in her career followed in 2017, as she stepped in at the BBC to provide maternity cover for Alex Jones.

In 2016, she also fronted the robot combat competition, Robot Wars, with Dara O'Briain. However, Angela has since revealed her unpleasant experience while on the show.
Speaking on Tiffanie Darke's podcast Fashion as a Force for Good, Angela revealed that presenting Robot Wars had been a "big gig" for her. She also revealed she had "wild imposter syndrome" amid hosting the series.
But unfortunately for Angela, despite being clear about her "strengths and ability,” she claimed that a BBC producer referred to her as merely the “glamour.” She also alleged that a friend called her up and told her that the same producer had called her the “t*ts and the teeth" of Robot Wars which left her “absolutely furious.”
Angela explained: “The next meeting I had with this person, there was a conversation less around the content – which in my mind was my job – and more around what are you thinking you’ll wear? I was like, 'That’s not important'.
“It felt so reductive and so presumptuous that I would have arrived with my lippy on and my legs out to entertain the lads, and that was my value. Absolutely not." To make sure there was no skin on show, Angela went on to host the show dressed in a boiler suit, ensuring that there was no skin on show.

Daily Star has contacted to BBC for comment.
Angela is set to take to the dance floor at Blackpool on Saturday night (November 18). It's the part of the competition that every Strictly contestant wants to reach.
She said: “It feels amazing, that was the thing when I started the show, this is like the place you want to get it, isn't it? It feels quite iconic and absolutely a privilege to be able to dance in a place that's so steeped in history and talent and incredible performances for hundreds of years."
