I spent over £21k on filler & Botox – I had to stop when I was pregnant and trolls say I look SO much better without it | The Sun
A BEAUTY fan who has spent over £21k on filler and botox has revealed what she looked like after not having it done for a year.
Maddie takes pride in talking openly about her cosmetic journey which has included nose and chin surgery.
In one particular video, she took to her TikTok page ‘maddiespageforbeauty,’ and revealed how she had a year off from the tweakements due to being pregnant.
She says: “I’m going to show you what it looks like when I went a year and half with no Botox, no filler, and no tretinoin.
“I also gained 30 pounds, I was pregnant.”
Tretinoin is a medication which is applied to the skin as a cream or gel and used for the treatment of acne.

“You can see melasma poking through my makeup in this photo.”
Melasma is a skin confidence which leaves brown or greyish patches of pigmentation and usually develops on the face.

Maddie then shows a picture of herself halfway through pregnancy.
She says: “You can still see the melasma on my forehead, eleven between my eyebrows are starting to show, no issues with volume loss as you can see.”
Then, she reveals what she looked like ten months without any Botox, filler or tretinoin.
Maddie says: “You can see the crows feet.
“Those lips do not have any filler.”
Next up, she shows a picture of what she looked like the day she had her baby before showing another picture after almost a year of not having tweakments.
She says: “This is after almost a year of no Botox and filler, now the water weight and the pregnancy weight is starting to go down.
“Over a year of no Botox or filler.”
The picture shows a much more natural face, but Maddie isn’t a fan and shortly after that photo begins getting her cosmetic treatments done again.
She says: “You can see that I’m a happy camper.
“The best part about not getting aesthetic treatments while I was pregnant was that I saved a lot of money.
“But the worst part was watching my skin texture return.
“Without Retin A, without Botox, fine lines and wrinkles begin to develop on the face.”

Another added: “Way better without it.”
A third said: “Filler ages you though I noticed I got in my smile lines twice and it just makes it worse. I only love Botox and skin tightening treatments.”

And others couldn’t believe that she was a mum, to which Maddie replied: “I am. I have three.”
