CAMDEN Toy, famed for his role as a host of horrifying monsters in 90s favourite Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has died age 68.
Toy passed away after battling with pancreatic cancer for the last two years.
His death was confirmed by friends via the Facebook page Remembering Camden Toy page.
In a post on December 8, Toy's partner Bethany Henderson said: "For many reasons we were very hopeful for, at least, a longer and more fruitful time on planet Earth.
"Even the more recent challenges felt more like a hiccup in progress.
"Unfortunately, it looks like we’ve reached the end of the road with the doctor’s treatment. His condition has declined a lot in the last two months and tremendously in the last several days."

Tributes pour in
Tributes have poured in for the late Camden Toy.
Writing on X/Twitter, friend and colleague James C. Leary said: "The world lost a delightfully maniacal, abundantly kind, and overwhelmingly generous soul last night.
"I had the pleasure and privilege to travel the world, tread the boards, and sail the seas with @Camden_Toy and I shall cherish every moment. Rest easy."

Where was Camden Toy born?
Camden Toy grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He would later move to New York where he was one of the founding members of the Nada Theatre.
Toy would go on to live in LA were he joined the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Camden's partner paid tribute before his passing
Writing on December 8, Camden Toy's partner Bea Henderson announced his condition had worsened and paid tribute to the star.
In a Facebook post she said: "My heart is breaking as I watch my Love vanish before me!
Many of our circle know that Camden has been battling with pancreatic cancer for 2 years. He was diagnosed in February last year after months of mysterious pain.
"For many reasons we were very hopeful for, at least, a longer and more fruitful time on planet Earth. Even the more recent challenges felt more like a hiccup in progress.
"Unfortunately, it looks like we've reached the end of the road with the doctor's treatments. His condition has declined a lot in the last 2 months and tremendously in the last several days. He chose, for many reasons, not to announce his illness publicly, and so, unfortunately, this may be new and shocking news to many of his fans."

Camden Toy had a long career in the film and games industries.
Some of his roles outside of Buffy were in The Insider's Guide to Film School, The Bay and Average Joe.
He also had a voice role on Call of Duty: Vanguard.

What monsters did Camden Toy play?
Toy played several of the show's most iconic monsters, including Gnarl, the Ubervamp, and one of The Gentlemen in the Emmy-nominated episode Hush in 1999.
The actor was often in such heavy makeup that Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar reportedly said she had never seen his real face until the producers showed her a photo.
Toy appeared in five episodes of the 90s show's seventh and final season.
