A ROMANTIC gesture by a husband has turned out to be a fashion disaster.
His wife was touched when he bought her some leggings, but there was a style issue with them of epic proportions.
After trying them on she quickly realized there was no way on this earth she would ever be able to wear them in public and no fashion hack could save them.
It didn't take much for TikTok user Gutpunchmommy (@gutpunchmommy) to understand that venturing out to PTA meetings in her pink leggings would almost certainly offend the parents.
But she knew he meant well when he purchased the authentic flesh-colored item – but they were far, far too authentic.
Commenters were universally agog when they saw her modeling them.
“These should be illegal," was the urgent appeal from one of them.
“Bless his heart," Gutpunchmommy said in her post.
“My husband’s Valentine’s gift. Light pink leggings can’t be worn in public," she wrote with a measure of understatement.
Taylor Swift provided appropriate lyrics in the background: “Horrified looks from everyone in the room."

“I will however offend all the other parents at the next PTA meeting if I showed up in these.”
She could see the potential for some mischievousness though.
“I do see myself not caring in my own backyard and letting the neighbors wonder a bit," she joked.
This fashion blunder attracted over 65,000 likes and hundreds of stunned comments.
“The way I gasped when the video came up," was typical of many other comments.
“It looks like Barbie’s crotch. Lol," was the reaction of this person.
Just don't, said a second person: “A co-worker wears them and I die every time.”
