Luisa Zissman has warned the show contestants to not expect to get rich.

Big Brother 2023 has returned to ITV2 after five years away with a new set of hosts and an exciting line-up with the much-loved reality series to hit screens tonight and will run on ITV2 for six weeks.

The former Apprentice star, 36, took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 and finished in fourth place.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Luisa shared her advice to the latest batch of housemates.

She urged: “Be yourself and don’t expect too much. I think too many people go into these shows wanting fame and thinking they’re going to be really rich after. A lot of the time that is not the case.

“I couldn’t tell you the name of any Love Island contestant outside of Olivia and Alex Bowen.”

She added: “Just have low expectations and enjoy the moment, enjoy the experience for what it is. Not thinking about what you can get.”

Addressing Big Brother’s return the entrepreneur admitted she was happy to see it back on our screens.

“A lot of us grew up with it and a lot of us see it as an institution,” Luisa commented. “When it came off our TV it was a bit sad. I’ll definitely be tuning in but it’s a commitment though.”

She mused: “I’m definitely going to try and tune it. I think it’s going to be good. Nostalgic.”

Big Brother is back tonight with a brand new abode, housemates and hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.

Contestants are monitored 24/7 by live television cameras and personal audio microphones. Throughout the competition, housemates are evicted by the public votes and the last remaining housemate wins the competition and a cash prize.

The show first hit our screens back in 2000 and immediately became a ratings hit and ran every year until 2018 before going on a break.

Big Brother: The Launch will air on ITV1, ITV2, and ITVX at 9pm on October 8.
