Linda Evangelista was overcome with emotion as she made a public appearance at Cadogan Hall during London Fashion Week on Sunday.

The iconic supermodel, 58, was there to celebrate her first book with photographer Steven Meisel.

The star broke down in tears as she spoke to an audience about her legendary partnership with Steven and her remarkable career.

Linda has collaborated with the legendary photographer for over 35 years and the pair have created some of the most memorable and influential images in fashion history.

Their book is a stunning tribute to one of fashion’s most iconic and enduring collaborations and features more than 180 images shot over the course of 25 years.

The runway queen broke down as she mulled over memories and spoke about her stratospheric rise to fame.

An emotional Linda then looked to be bleary eyed as over a hundred fans surprised her when she left the venue hoping to catch a glimpse of their idol.

The mother-of-one looked effortlessly chic for the outing wearing a black trench coat, mustard polar neck jumper and midi skirt.

She slipped into a pair of closed-toed, black heels that were secured with thin straps that wrapped around her ankles.

The star accessorised her classy outfit with a chunky gold necklace as well as silver bracelets placed on one wrist.

She opted for a classic makeup look, which comprised of a layer of black mascara to her lashes, as well as a warm blush to better accentuate her cheekbones.

The exclusive event comes after Linda was the star of the show on Thursday joining Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington on stage at the swanky Vogue World bash.

The 90s supermodels looked sensational and were greeted with wild applause from the Theatre Royal Drury Lane audience.

Linda, whose confidence was dented after botched surgery, looked visibly touched by the warm reception after revealing earlier this month she was diagnosed with breast cancer and quietly underwent a double mastectomy five years ago.
