Dog causes chaos during game as it invades pitch before biting ball and escaping capture | The Sun
FOOTBALL matches are usually invaded by the odd fan trying to grab their 10 seconds of glory.
But not often do you see a dog sprinting on the pitch, swooping the ball and outrunning the security.
But Mexican second-division side Alebrijes de Oaxaca's 4-0 win on Thursday against Dorados was overshadowed, as a four-legged superstar became the unexpected star of the match.
The dog darted onto the pitch just before the game's went to extra time.
Security were spotted trying to get hold of the dog as he darted across the ground with the game ball in his mouth.
Staff embarrassingly failed to capture the dog, much to the hilarity of fans.
