Make lazy parmesan pasta in under 10 minutes for the ultimate comfort food
Pasta is one of those dinners you can really go wrong with, but many recipes claim to be simple, yet take a long time to make and have numerous ingredients.
One pasta recipe that has very few ingredients takes just a couple of minutes to cook, and is absolutely flavoursome is this “lazy girl parmesan pasta” dish.
On the table in 10 minutes, it’s the ultimate midweek meal for when you just can’t be bothered to spend hours in the kitchen cooking.
Cooking enthusiast Hari Beavis has shared this quick recipe on her TikTok recently, which received over 94,000 views.
Hari captioned the video: “We have all had parmesan fries, but let’s make it pasta.”

Ingredients
- Two to three tablespoons garlic olive oil
- Two teaspoons chopped garlic
- 250g pasta
- Handful of chopped parsley
- 100g grated parmesan
- Pinch of salt

Hari starts by putting the pasta on to boil and in a frying pan adds a drizzle of the garlic olive oil to the pan to fry off some chopped garlic.
When the pasta is done, the next step is to simply add it to the frying pan that has the garlic and oil and chuck in the parsley, Parmesan and salt.
After, add in some of the starchy pasta water if needed and mix it all together.
Hari then serves up the pasts with a generous helping of grated parmesan and sprinkles over some more parsley.
For those who want to make the recipe in even less time, they can use fresh pasta instead of the dried variety.
Dried pasta takes around 15 minutes to cook. Fresh pasta takes considerably less time to cook than dried, usually one to three minutes.
