Stacey Solomon says world has ended as she gives update on Joe health battle

Stacey Solomon has told how the world has “practically ended” in her house as her husband Joe Swash battles a “man bug”.

The Loose Women star joked that she “wouldn’t even notice” it if she had the same sickness bug as Joe, as she posted a string of clips on Instagram of her cleaning their house while he recovered. The videos showed Stacey doing laundry, wiping down mirrors and mopping floors.

She said she also gave the bathrooms at Pickle Cottage a good scrub. "When Joe has the sickness bug the world has practically ended," Stacey told her fans, explaining that she was disinfecting everything.

“Even though I know deep down that if I did get this little bug that he has got, I probably wouldn't even notice,” she giggled. “But here we are, I'm not taking any chances!"

"Spend the morning with us while Joe's got the man bug,” the TV star said in another post. She quipped: “My voice is giving 'I've been up all night telling my husband to be sick quietly’.”

However, as she worked on her house, Stacey did reveal that she really felt for Joe. “No, he really is ill, bless him,” she posted. “And I don’t want to catch it.”

In another video posted after she got her children to bed, the presenter told her fans that Joe was quarantining in the kitchen while he got over his illness. “We haven’t seen him all day,” she said.

“Hoping that it is like a 24 hour thing and once we have disinfected it will all be over.” The star shares son Rex, four, and daughters Rose, two, and Belle, nine months, with EastEnders star Joe.

And she is also mum to sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 12, who are from previous relationships. She said she felt really thankful that all of her children had been really well-behaved while Joe was unwell. "They were actually really good today, I am so lucky," she said.

“I am just so ready for bed!” Stacey told her Instagram followers.
