BBC EastEnders fans scared for Suki and Eve as Nish discovers affair

Tuesday's EastEnders had a rather dramatic end when Nish Panesar finally discovered his wife's infidelity while watching the CCTV cameras installed in their shop.

Longtime viewers of the soap will know that Nish's wife Suki has had an on-again-off-again romance with Eve Unwin, which the pair had recently rekindled, planning to flee Walford together.

However, their plans may be halted by Nish, who is set to confront Suki in coming episodes after he discovered her romance with Eve.

Following Tuesday's instalment of the BBC soap, fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their fears for Suki and Eve, with one writing: "The way I just gasped at Nish watching Suki and Eve on the CCTV!! I AM SCARED # EastEnders."

And a third penned: "this doof doof is just peak ee, nothing better than a good old affair reveal like this !! the next two eps are going to be a stunning bit of television. #Eastenders"

It comes as fans continue to speculate that Nish could be the male character killed off in the upcoming Christmas murder storyline.

The Christmas storyline has had everyone talking for months now, after a special flashforward scene aired earlier this year giving fans a sneak peek of what's set to unfold during the festive season, with six of Walford's female residents standing around an unidentified dead man.

So far, several poor souls have been suggested, with Keanu Taylor and Theo Hawthorne among two popular fan theories.

However, another possibility that continues to gain traction is Walford villain Nish, who has been making his wife Sukiโ€™s life hell for much of the past year, even before he became aware of her affair.

As regular viewers will know, the Panesar patriarch has already showcased his mean streak in recent episodes, with one seeing him violently attack Suki after she accused his son Ravi of murder.

Taking to X, fans have shared their predictions that it could be curtains for Nish come Christmas – with some predicting that Eve could be killed off too.

"I'm beginning to sway towards the conclusion that Nish kills Eve on Christmas Day – she's the 7th woman in the window, then we get a Den Watts style murder where they all fight him – Linda only being a witness – and then one of them goes too far. #Eastenders" predicted one fan.

And a second suggested: "I predicted months ago Nish would kill Eve and then be killed by Suki at Christmas. Think I was right. #Eastenders"

While a third simply added: "I shall be absolutely shell-shocked if Nish survives Christmas Day #EastEnders"
